I’m gonna say it. I’m backing Idah to come good. If he can play get good injury free period behind him and play as an out and out striker. He has the attributes, he needs some regular football and some real match fitness. Prove them wrong Adam.

I don’t remember fans turning against him. A splattering of grumbles here and there maybe but I think any manager has to put up with that. That doesn’t equate to “fans turning on him” though, surely?

So true, so why is there no excitement? We won’t be promoted as we have no belief (collectively) and no momentum and the desire is very questionable.

How are we only one point behind the playoffs? That is incredible. In any normal season of yesteryear, being 1 point off the playoffs at this stage would indicate party season. I have to admit, and it’s sad to say so but I actually don’t want us risking getting promoted and making fools of ourselves again so I think 7th place would do me fine. Also, for us to be so close after being so awful, how dreadful must teams in the lower half of the table be?

That’s a football fan trait unfortunately, to sing any song as fast as they can. It’s like everyone is too excited and just wants to spit the words out as quick as possible. Any songs you hear at the football sung slowly sound far far better. Just got to get it through to all the 16/17 year olds that are over excited about being able to swear out loud without being told off!

I think you’re right. The squad need to be properly refreshed. We’ve got too many players that know that promotion would see them out of a job in a sense. With that in mind you have to question how hungry are they for promotion? Scapegoating though, that’s unnecessary and a bit childish, not to mention hurtful. They’re just people after all.

So, Idah is injured and now it’s hanleys turn. Right?
