  1. Howson and Dorrans are good. But neither irreplaceable. Neither can take free kicks particularly well, nor fit into the defending midfielder role comfortably. If this guy Vrancic can defend in midfield, apply a decent free kick and is a corner wizard as well as being technically sound and we''re paying him less, moving forward, he''s the better option given where we stand with finances.
  2. It''s Man City Lakey. Thee Man City. Gunn will be number 1 all day long. Rudd''s near 27 and if he was going to have the chance this loan wouldn''t have been sanctioned. I still think we''re in for a another keeper, selling Rudd and McGovern, keeping Jones and loaning Matthews.
  3. Her reading of the game is unparalleled and her fee wouldn''t be so bad so more money we could plough into revitalising scampi portions at the Gunn club
  4. Why do some people think transfer windows are like shopping lists? "well, I need some defenders now, so I''l just got to the defender aisle and pick up a centre-back. hmm, need to get some strikers ''cos we''re a little short of them up top..." You don''t think the club''s working on ALL transfers at any one time? Things happen at whatever time it takes to make them happen.
  5. Someone wrote earlier that''s the prerequisite for loanees, first team place. I''m not sure that''s true though
  6. Might sound crazy, but I just thought we might move for another, as yet, unknown keeper from the lower leagues or Europe that''s better than Rudd?
  7. Can''t see Rudd being happy with 2nd choice. Most folk on here think the activation in his contract was done to sell him on, I''m inclined to agree. I concur with McGovern, nothing but a flapper. I would think we''ll be moving him on too. Gunn, Jones and Matthews I''d say. Matthews then being loaned out again to a L1 or Champs club.
  8. The trouble is Naismith, Dorrans and Tettey are all ageing (in football terms at least) and on a hefty wedge. Who wants them with that baggage? And, if it''s a Champ rival coming in for them, do we bite the bullet and let them go to them with the risk that carries. Not ideal any which way because we all know we can''t really afford to keep them on especially given their patchy performances.
  9. You''ve posted 11,111 comments. How cool and weird is it that it coincides with you losing your mind?!
  10. Dereham Wetherspoons - soft target. Leaves me with palpitations. Where else am I gona get a pint of Heineken for under £3.50? Pier Morgan, you''ve just ruined my life.
  11. That''s a thread right there VW - Is Gunn our Neuer?
  12. Keep your hair on Baldyboy, have you considered writing to Farke and Webber to let them know?!
  13. Yaay the big d!ckhead has gone and given a bunch of psychopaths a great idea to highlight a point just to make himself look remotely knowledgeable.
  14. @ Move Klose, you can''t deny he had nice though. Reminiscent of a certain other continental flop we once signed...
  15. @Kick it off you have that keepers kit from the 90''s?! You jammy sh1t! Those tops and the bird poo shirt go for too much on Ebay. We used to have this awful sports shop in Dereham called Pilch Inter Sport, I bet they had a load of stuff like that they never shifted when they closed down. Those places just don''t exist anymore.
  16. @pablofarmer I don''t think people warmed to the crazy 3rd kit from last season (I did, I bought one!) so that''s probably not on the cards, though I''d be all for it!
  17. "Im not happy and I''m not sad" Smiths Lyric to ''This night has opened my eyes''! Great song if a little dark. I feel the majority of fans, including me, are a little apprehensive. It''s a big change at the very club''s fundamentals, modernising the way the place is run.
  18. Seems a shame Read this interesting piece on My Football Writer about the youth coming through - my browser doesn''t support the clicky alas http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter.com/2017/06/06/all-we-are-saying-is-give-youth-a-chance-can-others-follow-the-same-path-as-the-murphy-bros/
  19. If that''s the case AJ then why keep him on if he''s unlikely to get a sniff of first team action? Neil was inclined not to include any of the youth or young prospects, the likes of Maddison, Pritchard and Godfrey have been solid in their cameos.
  20. Anything that''s come out of the EDP of late has proven correct. Seems the club and the media are talking to each other. Which is good for club/public relations.
