  1. What views? That's something you've made up. Just questioning your constant name calling and abuse. You obviously think that's very current and non princess-like.
  2. Effeminate? In what way? You think he's gay, effeminate and pretty so you call him a princess. And you think I've got problems?
  3. No, look carefully, I'm asking you why you called him a princess. And suggesting a reason in your line of thinking.
  4. Any reason for calling him a princess? Something to do with the fact you think he's gay?
  5. This is more or less what Farke is saying. So why has he missed training this week? Personal issues? This covers a wide range of things but a couple of weeks ago Todd said he felt fine and if it was emotional matters I can't see Farke accusing him of being immature. Injury? He's not injured although Farke has used that as a reason for him not playing. Last week it was because of the form of Dowell, although he wasn't played either. Bunking off training? No he would have been disciplined and made to apologise to his team mates as previous offenders such as Josh Murphy. We don't usually play senior players in the U23's, it's not going to do his transfer value any good and he could pick up another injury. Unless we know what is happening people are going to jump to their own conclusions. It sounds like the same thing that happened to Leitner and he has been alienated from the first team squad. Let's hope it doesn't have the same outcome.
  6. Doesn't seem to be any explanation why he missed training this week. "Not 18 anymore" sounds like a dig to me. Can’t play at 98% unless you're Ronaldo - or Hanley or Gibson or Tettey - Norman has never been 100%. We need an explanation, we're struggling badly and playing a striker who can't score.
  7. The worrying signs for me are if he's sitting alone in the stands and Farke is talking about him in the same way he spoke about Leitner two years ago. We should concentrate on what he can do on the pitch and how to get the best out of him. Several players have had poor games and retained their places. This recovery time after injury has not applied to everyone, Gibson and Hanley were not match fit at the start of the season. Was it fair to Cantwell to put a £40M price on his head? More than Emi, and we justified his sale by claiming "he wanted to leave" Why are we playing players who cost under £10M in preference to someone we value at £40M? Either way we are missing out on someone with great ability who can perform at this level, in games like Brighton and Burnley he could have made a big difference.
  8. Tzolis and Rashica are similar players, Gilmour and Rupp are similar players but they were all on the bench. This must be Farke's way of motivating Cantwell, he never seems to give him much credit. Dangerous game, let's hope it works.
  9. So that makes her a fraudster? She's not making any accusations, she is trying to help people. There's no need to come out to anyone, you can tell your family but it's nobody else's business. This article is obviously rubbish, we should stop the witch hunt, if anyone needs to come out it is the homophobes.
  10. Moving the goalposts would be a good idea after yesterday. Forward to the penalty spot.
  11. Hugill did alright for us last season, we needed a reserve striker and he didn't let us down, so why pay more? Both he and Placheta scored for us when we were not doing so well at the start of the season. Also I'm not keen on the way you say "Polish" as if it is some kind of insult.
  12. Let's face it, it was a terrible miss that cost us 2 points. He could have followed the ball in but he looked like he was on his way to celebrate. Doesn't seem to have the striker's instinct at the moment. I don't understand trying to justify his inclusion because he works hard, it's like having a goalie who can't keep the ball out of the net but takes good goal kicks. RVW scored on his debut and had assists but was ridiculed for a pass to nobody. Yesterday was worse, "that's why you're going down" said the Brighton fans. Sargent will get better but needs to be rested and hopefully be reintroduced into a winning side.
  13. Isn't that being negative when you're criticising others for being negative? I wouldn't judge any player on our first 3 games this season and expect them to give the same performance. Especially as in those 3 games Todd made more tackles than anyone in the Premiership, strange that from a player that's "pretty awful" and "not committed" We know what he can do and he has very much earned his place in the team. If we just wanted players to run around and never give up we could field a team of youth players, not someone who cost 10 million quid and produces nothing. I do agree that the system we play doesn't suit Cantwell but it also doesn't produce goals.
  14. You can run around as much as you like but you need to convert simple chances. Awful finishing.
  15. He's out for fitness reasons. He's been nowhere near awful.
  16. Baker Street has got to be one of the best although evidently it is slightly flat. Difficult question Sonny Rollins on the Stones' Waiting on a Friend, Candy Dulfer on Lily Was Here, David Sanborn on Young Americans, but I think my fave is Michael Brecker on Paul Simon's Still Crazy After All These Years.
  17. I would imagine that there would be quite a few clubs interested in a Polish international with his pace. If he went out on loan and did well, people would question the standard of opposition and his international career would suffer. Surely he would be better staying here and benefiting from our state of the art training facilities. Too many are out on loan and we have an under 23 side of players being judged at a very young age. Martin and Barden did well last season but I wonder if they'll get another chance here.
  18. Playing for the country ranked 24 in the world.
  19. Lovely assist for Poland's first goal last night from Placheta. Ten minutes in after being out for so long. We could do with some of that.
  20. Going to a lower club isn't going to do his international career any good and his confidence will suffer. He's not playing as badly as some would make out, none of our strikers have been marvellous, we need to have the same patience with him that we have with Sargent etc. Idah links up well with Cantwell and needs someone like him to provide the service that he's not getting at the moment.
  21. Idah has had praise for his work in international games where he did not score. The Guardian writer would disagree with you about his physical attributes and if you watch McLean's disallowed goal against Leicester it completely proves you wrong. He is more likely to get on the end of a cross than any of our other forwards which is important if we play wing backs. But let's just judge him on one game - against Liverpool.
  22. Ian Wright seemed heartbroken at the decision and stared down at the floor. If it had been the other way round they would have agreed with the ref and probably not shown it. There was no intent from Krul, had it been a clash of heads it would have been deemed accidental.
  23. Do we need 3 defensive midfielders when we have 3 central defenders? I think it will develop as the defence gains more confidence. Sargent is one for the future, he hasn't got the skill level of the players he is keeping out of the side. We have paid a lot of money for him, he needs to be getting on the end of crosses and making his physical presence felt in the danger areas.
  24. Kabak targeted and sent off. Ridiculous VAR decision wins the game for Burnley.
