For sacking managers with 5 games to go. Whilst at Fulham he sacked Coleman and replaced him with Sanchez saved Fulham and again replaced manager with Houghton who got 12 points from last 5 games and saved them again.

Lets hope he''s right again but you can''t argue with a record like that.

12 points does seem unlikely.

Sanchez was replaced by Hodgson, not Houghton, in December 2007.  Although Hodgson kept them up, his total of 23 points from 21 games, including no wins until his 8th game in charge, would see him burned alive on this message board.  12 of those points came in the last 5 games, so 11 points from 16 games would see him hung, drawn, almost quartered and then burned alive.

That''s 1.1 points per game. If Hughton had won points at that rate we''d be on 36 points and 13th in the league right now.

Hughton this season has 0.97 points per game, leaving us 17th in the league.

The difference is massive.
