ncfcstar 291 Posted January 31, 2014
It''s would a logical move for everyone: Holtby goes to a club in the top flight where he will get first team football, in an area where his extended family live.Norwich get that creative and exciting midfielder we are lackingSpurs strengthen a team that could take points off their rivals (while not being able to face them in the city spurs match) and get to send him to a former coach..... Maybe just maybe someone at the club might have noticed we might have a shot at getting him in. Maybe I''m dreaming.
I would imagine that Hughton still has some very strong links at WHL so if Holtby was available, then Hughton would know about it.Would love us to sign him, even if it is a loan, he''s exactly what we need. The Great Wall Of Tettey 0 Posted January 31, 2014 Fulham only attract players because they''re London based. He''s exactly the type of player we should be after but feel he mind end up somewhere bigger!
Jim Smith 2,317 Posted January 31, 2014 This is exactly the sort of player we should have been in for as soon as the Wes transfer saga started a couple of weeks ago. Who knows maybe we were but this latest link smacks of a last minute effort, possibly in light of yesterdays events at Colney.Sadly Fulham have had a weeks head start on us and will pay more so they must be in the box seat. Also Fulham are 5 points below us, would he go to a team that could put a relegation on his CV?
Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted January 31, 2014 Still seems to be strongly linked with Fulham today, loan with a view to a £8m transfer in the summer if they stay up
