I was just wondering who was the 1st person to post on this board & what was the topic?

Just look at the last page! The very last topic is about Football Hooliganism by some guy called Nicholas Mead who only posted once.

However, it appears to be the 361st post on the Archant System. Before that, there were PilotWeb and EDP messageboards. I think that is about right...webteam?

Simply click on last at the bottom of the page to find the oldest - although that will strictly be the oldest post that hasnot had a response.

Nicholas Mead is the earliest I saw - AT 16.10 PM on 19/8/2003 about a reported increase in football hooliganism.  Is there an earlier one I have missed?  That was on the then newly re-launched board - I assume the old boards posts can no longer be accessed.  It seems that was Mr Meads only post - with no response.  Simply click on last at the bottom

I notice that I had a (typically) unanswered post dated 27/8. It is interesting to also see some old faces still around now - Templeton, Tumbleweed,  XXL16, Mook & Iwans front teeth amongst others.

In fact, (save other people doing it) 1 to 18 are test pages with various Archant type people typing ''asdasdaasdas'' (to add to the Carl Cort Conspriacy) or sdfgsdfgsdfg etc etc.

The next few seem to be about flying, theres an amusing joke at 25, then random business posts, more about flying, and Ive narrowed it down to post 287 is a ''Welcome to the Forums'' but after that theres loads of posts about refuse collection, ghosts, holidays etc, all under ''Have your say''! It all seems a bit random after that (ie I gave up randomly typing in messageID''s to get to the football related threads..!)

Cant beleive Ive just spent time doing this! Any jobs going at Archant?

Think you''ve unearthed forums for all our sites - there''s a Spooky Norfolk section on EDP24, for example. The flying ones could be from PilotWeb, a site for a flying mag from another part of Archant.

Must make sure our test messages are more interesting in future . . .
