Branston Pickle 4,150 Posted January 6, 2013 I was just wondering, in all this talk of signings and/or players leaving in this Window, how things stand on our squad and its size, in terms of PL games. I seem to recall that we have all the slots taken, and Elliott was surplus but has now returned from loan - so we can name him in the cup but not league games. But what about new signings? I know the squad ''rule'' allows for resetting at the end of the window, but is it relaxed for the month? I guess what im saying is, if we signed a new striker before next weekend, would we be able to play him (with or without selling someone)? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
AJ 1,359 Posted January 6, 2013 The 25-man squad list resets at the end of the window I believe, so any new players can be added to that, but that would indeed mean chalking off existing players to make space if need be.If we signed anyone under 21 they would not need to be included in the 25-squad and would be able to play.Cups are not part of this law which only applies to the Premier League Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
