swindonyellow 0 Posted November 12, 2012 Ha..... Typical Norwich. Only we can be 3rd in the league and still have a minus goal difference!!!Good to see the young ones doing well though.

nutty nigel 7,534 Posted November 13, 2012 It gets complicated in January for the knock out stage. It''s explained here : - http://elitedevelopmentblog.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/the-barclays-under-21-premier-league.html#!/2012/08/the-barclays-under-21-premier-league.html
crabbycanary 2 Posted November 13, 2012 Blimey! Spurs against Newcastle would be worth seeing. Guaranteed goals! Perhaps once Hughton left both Clubs, they threw the defending manuals away!
norfolkchance1 0 Posted November 13, 2012 I was flicking through the channels on sky last monday and came across the Liverpool channel and they were showing their u21 away game against Wolves live. They won 5-1 with Pacheco playing - you would have thought that was a massive step down for someone who has played some league football, but when they interviewed him he didn''t view it as that. There was a few others in Liverpools team that I''d seen playing in and around their first team as well. So I think the idea of this sort of league is really helpful and seems more hungry than reserve team football used to be.
Gingerpele 0 Posted November 13, 2012 I''ve only ever seen a report of us winning one game, so surprised to see we''ve won more than that...
Yellowbeagle 0 Posted November 13, 2012 I dont care if we finish bottom if there are one or two players who have what it takes to make a real break through, thats what this is all about at the end of the day. Fingers crossed that this U21 system leads to some much needed outfield young players comming through to the first team with the real ability to stand shoulder to shoulder with the players we pay transfer fee''s for.
