Bassong on loan???

Was just looking at the FA Premier League website to see which of our players are considered "home grown" (there are plenty of them - so no problems with the 8 home grown player rule)... however I did notice that Bassong (along with Garrido) are listed as LOANS IN....

Surely this isn''t right??????

Wasn''t the it same thing with David Stihavka?, we signed him then in December found out it was on a loan deal with an option to buy!

 

Not a bad thing in many ways, for both club and player.

It matters because the FA are supposed to be the defining authority of the game in this country and if they have the player as just a loanee there has to be cause for concern.
