Bill 1,788 Posted July 17, 2012 I should imagine one of Rudd or Steer will need to go out on loan at some point (if not all of) this season. Why not loan one of them to our impoverished neighbours at poorman road. It would mean that either one could still stay at home at just drive down there when needed. It would also be far easier for our coachng staff to keep an eye on him. And maybe we could help them. It is not a welcome sight seeing your neighbour rummaging amongst the discarded fruit and veg when the market is packing up and in a spirit of generosity to these unfortunates it would not hurt to be the good samaritan. Over £70 million in debt and a current squad of around 15 players, the paupers are East Anglia''s Portsmouth - we should do our bit.
AndyCanary 0 Posted July 17, 2012 Can we not send them Ward instead? [;)]
Bill 1,788 Posted July 17, 2012 Wish that we could but is a goalkeeper they are in dire need of ps perhaps we could send them a few fans as they are also in dire need of such folk to fill the rows upon rows of empty seats at poorman road (around 14,000) - we have a few spare on here who by their postings would feel very at home in the land of the dimwitted rustic

We could send them the ''serial moaners'' from our fanbase. It would boost their crowds and perhaps make them realise that things at Norwich are actually quite good in comparison to other clubs. Any volunteers???
Bill 1,788 Posted July 17, 2012 I think it is because "things at Norwich are actually quite good in comparison to other clubs" that we have the ''serial moaners'' Unable to use the paupers as an example the best they can do is to try and conjure up fault at Carrow Road - it doesn''t take long to spot them, or recognise their intent Back on subject I think the fact that the paupers could probably afford no more than a tenner towards our keepers wages might cause some of all lot to complain. Even with that amount I would urge McNally to get the money up front first.

[/quote]One injury and we''re fu##ed. Don''t forget that we can''t get players in between windows unless they are out of contract or in exceptional circumstances. 3 decent keepers is a must these days. That said, we could lend 1p5wich the under 8''s keeper? Mister Chops 7 Posted July 17, 2012 I''d rather we offered some volunteer stretcher bearers/first aiders, so the St Johns Ambulance can spend Saturdays working for companies that can actually pay them the going rate.

Bill 1,788 Posted July 17, 2012 That is rather disturbing ... even for suffolk. He is sharing a house with Morticia, what can only be described as Humpty Dumpty and Colin Crompton As to the keepers Jed Steer was out on loan last season and I suspect either him or Rudd will be doing the same tis season, they need the experience of playing games. Any injuries are covered by them having a 24 hour recall clause. Maybe Sandy Kennon could help out the binners, he is at least around theur usual target age and would fit in perfectly with their current signing policy ...he is a free agent. norfolkbroadslim 225 Posted July 18, 2012 The one who you describe as humpty dumpty is in fact ''Howard Lew Lewis''!
crabbycanary 2 Posted July 18, 2012 Colin Crompton! That is a great shout!Even the cat looked like ''wtf! where is the door?!''I think social services should be chastised, as the carers were no where to be seen.I think he said that ''There is Bobby Robson on a clock'', well I hope that is what he said. Re the keepers. A great opportunity for Steer to work with the English keeper coach, or play games for a League 1 team? It might be useful to stay for a few months and then play (on loan) latterly, this season, for a 1st team
Joanna Grey 0 Posted July 18, 2012 Love the comments on that vid - "Well rochard is my bro and my mum and dad ;) " Taking inbreeding to new heights.

Salopian 1 Posted July 18, 2012 My feeling is that three is not too many. Most of the leading clubs have as many and more. If one is injured or suspended and then a second loses form or goes the same way, there is presious little cover. Added to this is the fact that at the new level of academy there will apparently be a premier reserve league, with regular games. We would surely want to have one keeper in that and another on the first team bench. I certainly would not want to lend a good goalkeeper to the Tractor Boys - now they''re down, why help them to climb up?

Thank you so much for posting it. Haven''t laughed so much for ages. "Rochard (or Richard) tapes from the radio!" It was like one of the locals from Deliverance sat there. The camera work was a bit jerky so I couldn''t tell but did any of them have the extra digit visible? norfolkbroadslim 225 Posted July 18, 2012 You could watch it and be forgiven for thinking it was a comedy sketch, but it''s actually real! Not forgetting the irony of him calling himself ''Ipswich Crazy''!
