dpit 1 Posted March 20, 2012 I''ll start by saying that I really think we are in very little danger of going down....but....The Wolves match will potentially be key not just for this season but next.IF we win, that really would be pretty much it with regards to removing the last doubts with regards to our safety and I think, with the pressure well and truly off, we will be able to play without fear and finish the season flying, thereby setting us up for next season.IF we lose, we will probably still be safe come what may but the psychological damage could be crucial for how we end the season. The spectre of possible relegation will lurk and I fear a real collapse, which will probably not mean relegation this year but may well have an effect on us next year.A draw would have us fall half way between both scenarios and the Fulham game would then take on a similar significance. So, in summary, I believe we''re safe BUT a loss to a hopelessly out of form Wolves could well lead to a horrible end to the year and a correspondingly nervy start to next year. Rob Sims 0 Posted March 20, 2012 Given Wolves form, (shipped 12 goals in the last 3 i think)I hope that at home the team will absoultely go for it, clearly a leaky defence.I think the performances Norwich have put in over the last 4 games have deserved more than the point we''ve acquired. The second half performance against Newcastle was really good, as was the Man Utd game.Stoke was indeed dire (from reports) and wigan you''re playing a team that have a cup final EVERY week and would see Norwich as a 3pts game.I''m going to go for 3-1 Norwich vs Wolves. We won''t keep a clean sheet! Ayala get fit. Now please.
pete 371 Posted March 20, 2012 Certainly this a must not lose game, otherwise more doom and gloom on here. Pl must put out best team whatever that is but must include Holt and Jackson up front and a defence without the pedestrian Ward need more pace at the back either Ayala if fit or Martin perhaps Ryan Bennett.. dpit 1 Posted March 20, 2012 I don''t know what our best side is any more. When Lambo was chopping and changing and it was working, we had no ''best side''. Now we are not doing so well and we need to put out the ''big guns'' to blow Wolves out of the water...I just don''t know who falls into that category. CanaryOne 0 Posted March 20, 2012 Could not be playing Wolves at a worse time , they will come into this game seeing it as a must win and they do have bits of reasonable form away from home 2-2 draw at Newcastle and a win at QPR lately . Play like we did against Man Utd we should get a comfortable 3 points , play as we did against Wigan and Wolves will beat us .

I''m concerned about this game, they have to win and we haven''t been playing like a team that really wants to win since the ManU game. If we play like we did in that game, I think we''ll get 3 points. Early goal will be crucial again.
Murphy and the Bricks 0 Posted March 20, 2012 Think the crowd will play a huge part, we really need to get behind the lads. I worry that a few stray passes etc in the first 10 minutes or so & the crowd will get on the players backs & confidence will be rock bottom.....as much as this is a cruical game, us the fans will play a crucial role too!!!!!Come on lets get behind the lads to make us safe!!!!! Cambridgeyellow 0 Posted March 20, 2012 Just like Wigan Wolves are playing ( or achieving ) far better away from home where there is not the same pressure. My biggest fear is that we dont win and this minority attending games booing and slating certain players becomes more vocal. If this happens it could have dire future consequences. curly_whirly_tipz 0 Posted March 20, 2012 I am quite nervous bout this game... partly dreading if we lose the amount of moaners we will encounter on here lol and also would be a great shame to be seen on paper to be having a dip in form.I really dont feel that we are going to go into this game thinking Wolves will be a pushover though. I am always slightly worried when we play the lower teams (preston, wigan..) however I am hoping for a more of a Scunthorpe outcome... ok maybe not win by a large amount but I am certainly hoping we proper go for it and get all 3 points.
