......and Smith must score. 1,590 Posted February 6, 2012 Don''t know anything about his singing but I wish him well with that. He was a decent footballer.Gave a good interview recently about his depression and in court he claimed it led him to write those bogus letters to the Old Bill saying his car was off the road when he was setting off speed cameras right left and centre a couple of years ago.I hope the beak takes that into account and gives him a short or maybe suspended prison term when he comes up for sentencing later this month. Mister Chops 7 Posted February 6, 2012 If his music''s anything like his football skills then he''ll release a 90 minute album of which 5 minutes will be worth listening to.
spencer 1970 214 Posted February 6, 2012 As someone who has worked in the music industry for many years, I''ll pass may verdict. (unlike my football judgements when I''m frankly pi55ing in the wind)Straining vocals, awful diction, but Great effort although don''t give up the day job...Oh? er? too late.(the demo wouldn''t make past a jnr A&R)Honestly?..its not my bag but it aint great is it?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcDm9zTPkxohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rwcN-islTc
Gingerpele 0 Posted February 6, 2012 Isn''t great, but certainly not the worst i''ve ever heard. I''m sure even his limited popularity as a footballer will give him some success in his new career path....
spencer 1970 214 Posted February 6, 2012 I''m not sure on that one G''pele - I''ve seen people with "limited popularity" in music with much more talent fail in the miserably.Remember he''s the wrong side of 30 now and I can''t see any of his own original material on the web...I doubt that tw4t Cowell will be in touch even though he loves a cover! I see so many ex-businessmen/sportsman/models try to launch a career in music but it rarely works unless they actually have talent/a story/..or are fit! (is Leon fit? I couldn''t say...city 1st! what are you saying?)
