BlyBlyBabes 0 Posted September 2, 2011 We saw a different Henri Lansbury, a more mature young man that was playing and was fantastic around the groupStuart Pearce England Under-21 manager http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/14656731.stm I''ll be surprised if we see him turning out in City colours again. Pity. OTBC OTBC
The Fish Seller 0 Posted September 2, 2011
I''ll be surprised if we see him turning out in City colours again.
So would "Big Sam" and several thousand West Ham supporters.
San Miguel 0 Posted September 2, 2011 obviously he''s at West Ham now so it means little at this point in time. glad we won''t be facing him this season though, he seems a good lad and could have a big future ahead of him..
stewfil 10 Posted September 2, 2011 If we didn''t seriously try to buy him, it seems we missed out on a great opportunity. Even if West Ham don''t get promoted he will be out of our price league next year. Of course we didn''t need any more midfielders, did we??
USA Canary 7 Posted September 2, 2011 We just need to look at it in that he helped to do his part in getting us promoted last season and wish him the best of luck.
Mungo Bumpkin 0 Posted September 2, 2011 Get over it - he was only a glorified bench warmer for us last season. Never did like that beard/hsaved head combo either.Mungo
BarclayCanary (Former HDDH) 0 Posted September 2, 2011 I think to say he was a glorified bench warmer is a bit over an under statement. If you went to the bristol city game where we went 2-1, I believe you will see he made the influence in that game, as he scored one and I believe he set Surman up, although I can not quite remember. But he did play a big part for us, unfortunately he is no longer available so we may just as well move on from it. Gingerpele 0 Posted September 2, 2011 Glorified bench warmer?Suppose you rather have not had him score those pretty important goals?

Huh?! 0 Posted September 2, 2011 Why are people still talking about him? We didn''t sign him, he''s gone to West Ham, end of! Thank you!
Gingerpele 0 Posted September 2, 2011 You know your allowed to follow the progress of former players, even players who have never played for NCFC. Lansbury played for us, was a part of our promotion. And someone a lot of people wanted us to sign. He hasn''t signed this season, but he might do in the future, you never know.
SwindonCanary 455 Posted September 2, 2011 Lansbury''s contract with Arsenal end at the end of the season and he will become a free agent, maybe we could approach him then ?
Wings of a Sparrow 1,436 Posted September 2, 2011 He''d probably prefer to be London based so if all goes well this season he will likely be a West Ham player in the Premiership next year.
