Excited Canary 19 Posted February 25, 2011 Some big games tomorrow which will see our rivals drop points, and we must capitalize by picking up a victory!Swansea (2nd) vs Leeds (6th) :Want: Draw. We don''t want Swansea to run away with it, and nor do we want Leeds to make up the ground on us. Draw would suit us best, and would be a fantastic result all round if we manage to win at Barnsley.Expect: Home win. Hull (8th) vs Cardiff (3rd):Want: Draw. Hull are on a good vain of form and them along with Leicester look likely candidates for a late surge for the play-offs. We want the gap between us and 7th as large as possible and a Hull win would keep the pressure on us completely. A Cardiff win would mean that they retain their gap above us, whether it is increased or remains the same obviously depends on the goings on at Oakwell.Expect: Draw.Millwall (11th) vs Forest (4th)Want: A draw if we lose, a Millwall win if we win. Millwall still have an outside chance of the play-offs and of course Forest are just one point ahead of us.Expect: Home win.Barnsley (14th) vs Norwich (5th)Want: Away win. Self explanatory. Expect: Away win (just).Leicester (7th) vs Coventry (16th)Want: Away win. Leicester look very dangerous at the moment in 7th place, whereas Coventry''s season seems to have fallen apart and they are surely out of the play-off picture all together. If Leicester lose and we win we will have a handsome 8 point lead over them.Expect: Home win.So, with the predictions out of the way the league tables are as such:If all goes to plan: 1. QPR 64 points2. Swansea 60 points-----------------------------3. Cardiff 59 4. Norwich 59 5. Forest 576. Leeds 55-----------------------------7. Leicester 518. Hull 50Which all looks very good doesn''t it?!However, I have also predicted the most likely outcomes in the fixtures, which leaves the table looking like this:1. QPR 67 2. Swansea 63 ----------------------------3. Cardiff 59 4. Norwich 59 5. Forest 576. Leeds 54----------------------------7. Leicester 548. Hull 50This just underlines how important it is that we pick up a victory tomorrow; if we lose it is extremely likely that we will be just 2 points ahead of Leicester who we have to visit very soon. Thoughts? How does everyone else feel tomorrow will pan out?OTBC! [:D]
alysha 0 Posted February 25, 2011 agree with most of that; I''d rather a Forest loss though, no matter how we do

Excited Canary 19 Posted February 25, 2011
agree with most of that; I''d rather a Forest loss though, no matter how we do
Hmm maybe, but a Millwall win would take them to within 7 points of us, and with a tricky trip to Leicester coming up for us that could quite easily narrow down. I''d want any team below us to beat those above; even if, say, Leicester were equally good, they still have to make up the points difference. It''s bloody tight though. Who can say! Who will crack? Would like to see Forest lose since I see them now as our biggest threat, at the end of the day we need to be getting three points and making sure that we are the pressure on other clubs.
