Mr Brownstone 0 Posted January 25, 2011 Charlie Adam is starting for Blackpool and he''s handed in a transfer request. Doesn''t mean he''ll be there in a week though.

Excited Canary 19 Posted January 25, 2011 Yeah but there is a bit of a difference to play against Manchester united and Colchester, I am sure Adam forced Holloway to pick him!
Gingerpele 0 Posted January 25, 2011 If we were signing him, we would have done it by now....Brighton don''t want to sell, there not going to sell...
xxxx 0 Posted January 25, 2011
If we were signing him, we would have done it by now....Brighton don''t want to sell, there not going to sell...
Agreed .Brighton gave up on their search for a striker today as Poyet reckoned they were to expensive , surely if they were selling Bennett for £1million plus they would have spent some of that on a striker. Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted January 26, 2011 Brighton paid £200 000 for him. I guess we would have bid about £500 000 cannot see us being able or indeed wanting to offer much more. I can see why Brighton do not want to sell it may have been different if they had been struggling
kdncfc 28 Posted January 26, 2011 I haven''t given up hope of us signing him just yet, Brighton might not want to sell him but if he wants a move it will probably happen before the end of January. Probaly just a case of the clubs failing to agree a fee but my guess is we''re playing the waiting game in the hope Bennett asks to leave leaving Brighton with no option than to get what they can for him.My biggest fear is that we have put all our eggs in one basket and if it doesn''t happen we''ll end up signing nobody else which would be a pity because my feeling is that promotion will be won by the club who are boldest in the January transfer window.
