What do people think of him?

Whenever I''ve seen him play he''s superficially impressive, i.e. very good at twisting and turning his way past defenders and has decent pace, however I think his final ball is often pretty poor.

Still, I would be pleased to see him come in.
Same here CWC, I think he''s a good enough player for FC and gives us some more pace

I wrote this on another thread about Lloyd Sam

I wasn''t impressed with him at all in the Charlton/Swindon play off games. He often seemed cut cut inside which would have been ok if he had a left foot, as opposed to getting down the line. When he had the chance to cross it he reminded me of Crofty. I don''t recall he did much at all in the promotion game at the Valley when Charlton had loads of the ball.

Perhaps he''s just had bad games when I''ve seen him the last few times.

I can''t see us getting him ahead of Sheff Utd or Burnley, as usual it will come down to money and we''ll be found wanting on that front like we always are.

I could agree more. Although one difference is I think Sam has more tricks up his sleeve than just pace.

We managed to get Ward who was in talks with Sheff Utd.

Lloyd Sam would be a quality signing.

He first impressed me when we played Charlton a couple of years ago at Charlton.Unfortunately we lost 2-0 ,both penalties & I seem to remember the ref sporting a turban . . .remember him?

Sam looked very sharp & tied us up in knots at the back.I think he would be a great addition to the club.
why should we not get a player over sheff united..?

they are not any bigger than us
Agree that they are not any bigger than us but they probably have more money at least until we get our investment.
