Two things about balls.

1.  Did anybody notice that the match ball against Leeds (the new summer ball?) was white with yellow and green markings? I wonder if that was our choice?

2.  Footballs these days have become more like beachballs. Hit the bar and it rebounds virtually to the halfway line. Quite frankly I think it''s gone too far. Anybody agree?

I wish that I had had today''s balls when I played. The old leather balls did not encourage skill for pedantics like me, especially when wet.
