The game Terry Postle forgot the kit?

I seem to recall this was true but a friend claims that the story about Terry Postle forgetting the kit for an away game and blaming it on a youth team player is an urban myth - does anyone know if thats true or not

There was one when the boots didn''t go up with the players and they had to be sent on the supporters'' coach. Think it was Forest away the year we won the title, Iwan wrote about it in his book. If I remember rightly it was that they got taken off the coach for a prank and no-one owned up...not got my copy to hand to check though.

I remember the kit man forgot to pack any shin-pads for the away League trip to Carlisle this season.Someone had to go haring round the local sports shops when the team got there.

Sounds what I remember from having read the book - think they realised on the morning of the match having travelled up the evening before

Was that the game where they had to change at half time because our away strip clashed with the stewards uniforms (dark blue with fluorescent greeny-yellow stripes)??
