Beauseant 0 Posted July 14, 2009 Bit concerned that the fount of all knowledge may be languishing in a dirty prison cell while being waterboarded by angry Delia acolytes. Of course it could just be that, having been well and truly found out yesterday, he''s lying low. Having said that I don''t suppose it''ll be long before the next "I don''t usually post rumours, but..." thread gets started by someone. And the school holidays haven''t even started yet, God help us! Desert Fox 0 Posted July 14, 2009 I seem to recall that the club let slip a false rumour to a small number of insiders a couple of years ago to expose a mole. I cant remember the detials, but it seemed to remove a source who had been accurate before. Perhaps the same has happened with Colney Spy re the Alan Lee story. Desert Fox 0 Posted July 14, 2009 Mustachio,No - I am talking 2 to 3 years ago and this was someone credible (i.e. a real club insider rather than a fantasist) who was closed down.

Beauseant 0 Posted July 14, 2009 Butler, in the light of the above I really hope you''re not drinking this.........[:|] LagavulinRegion: Islay District: South Shore Lagavulin Distillery claims to have had its beginning as far back as 1742. The modern version was built about 1816-24 on, or near, the site of several illicit stills. There was reputed to have been as many as ten such illegal stills in the bay where Lagavulin now stands on the South coast of Islay. Lagavulin was practically rebuilt in 1962 and operates four stills. Rarely is any version of this single malt officially available other than the "standard" sixteen year-old. 16 year oldProof 86 Color Medium to dark amber. Nose Typically Islay with peat, salt and some sherry. Body Full and smooth. Palate Very full. Medium dry with some sherry, sweetness and SALT becoming noticeable near the end. Finish Long and lingering. Plenty of peat and some briny notes.

Tim Allman 1 Posted July 14, 2009 A few years ago there was a poster on WotB called Hendrikus, who was always, shall we say, “first with the news”. He was outed when a false “story” was put around that NCFC were about to sign Darren Bent (this might have been around Jan 2005), which only he was fed, and it appeared on WotB. They got him bang to rights. I believe he either worked at Colney or was a close pal of someone at Colney. That someone is no longer at NCFC, but his departure was, I understand, not related to this and was well over a year after.
Desert Fox 0 Posted July 14, 2009 Tim,Thanks for the memory jog - this is what I was referring to. By the way was it connected to a certain ex-Finance Director who is now working for one of our rivals?
