Bury Yellow 2 Posted January 21, 2009 Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere but Waghorn''s bit suggests this.If this is true, I am beginning to feel a whole lot better and Gunny''s team looks more complete.

bringbackchippy 51 Posted January 21, 2009 you are right about butterworth, not sure what roll he will have, my post of 4 legends, he is the 4th
Bury Yellow 2 Posted January 21, 2009 Thanks ''chippy. For me that''s brilliant news and makes sense of the other appointments (well maybe not Deehan - sorry Dixie!)
Grando 263 Posted January 21, 2009 I think Butterworth will have a ham roll. Possibly with some extra source [sic].
JohnoBono 0 Posted January 21, 2009 Butterworth will make a great assistant manager. His knowledge of players in the lower divisions could be valuable. He is highly reguarded as well.
JohnoBono 0 Posted January 21, 2009 Was going to add. Got a relative who lives in and supports Hartlepool and says they hold Butterworth in high reguard up there. He likes to play football the ''Norwich'' way. He is a good coach and has a good understanding with the fans. They would not be to happy on him leaving up there. BroadstairsR 0 Posted January 21, 2009 For Grando: "I can''t believe it''s not Butterworth."
grantroederdisaster 0 Posted January 21, 2009 Why in our current state of not being financially flush and having got Gunn, Crook, Deehan and Tommy Wright would we want Butterworth? Butterworth was a great servant and if Crook or Gunn were on their own would make an ideal right hand man but we''ve already got a full house on the bench as it is! Bury Yellow 2 Posted January 21, 2009 But I don''t think Deehan is part of the coaching team. At least I bloody hope not!
ca 1 Posted January 21, 2009 If bringbackchippy says that Butterworth is going to be assistant manager then thats good enough for me.
