croft gets better every match

Recommended Posts

i tried to resist the urge to reply but couldnt.

Yes, he runs his socks off

Yes, he has pace, and can dribble the ball forty yards...im afriad however that there is a BUT coming...

BUT..there is 9/10 no end product. Its headless chicken syndrome; he doesnt look where hes going; ends up in blind allys and then pumps hopefull balls goalwards; more time than not out of play.

His end product needs to improve.

croft was brill tonight! just seems to be getting better every time he starts?
Nah not for me. Takes on his defenders well. But still very little end product. The number of crosses that sailed out of play or into the keepers hands was high again. Hes getting there, but still a long way to go to reach his potental IMO.

He had a decent enough game. His first since Palace away last season. Way too inconsistant but well done tonight.
Thought he was our worst player 1st half. Sorry but you like his effort. I like his effort but his effort isn''t enough to justify his woeful end product.

Lol! Somebody wasn''t at Sheffield United. If you were, did you watch the match? He was our best player easily..

His shot in the first half summed up his threat - safely tucked at the stomach of the keeper;   so much effort and runs really well,  but so does Seb Coe and he is as dangerous on teh right flank.

Did improve in the second half but over the game had so much ball with so little output! again
