Now tell me that Roeder is better than Grant !!

Recommended Posts

Give Roeder credit for what he is, a guy who can get a slumping team out of relegation for one season.

He has since lived up to the other half of his resume as a guy who can drive a team right back into relegation the following season.  However, the problem is not so much him as it is the lack of funds we have for players. Why do we have 24000 fans per game and fewer transactions and worse players than teams with less than half that?

Do people forget just how terrible the team were performing under Grant, yes I know it is all about results at the end of the day, but under Grant we were lucky to escape thrashings instead losing by a couple of goals, whereas now we are competing but losing by the odd goal.  Under Grant we were resembling a pub team.

However we obviously do need to start getting some points and cut out the stupid mistakes for goals, which appear to have been a running theme ever since we were relegated from the Premiership.

Why are you making excuses?

I think some of you are deluded with this whole "better football" thing, you make us sound like we are playing like Brazil. Is that why everyone''s phoning up tonight saying how awful we looked?

SWP i think we need to score a few goals at the other end of the pitch as well. What a state of affairs when people start "bigging it up" over the return of Doherty and look to Croft as a potential match winner. You would have laughed or cried as may be twelve months ago over those two players. That i am sorry to say is where we have arrived at.
