Should we expect a press conference today? As it seems now that all parties bar Norwich have confirmed the hoolihan deal, and Doncaster saying how we should expect an announcement in 24 hours, is there going to be one today or not?

Like I said on the other thread I wonder why the Club is so quiet about it?  Im sick of previous seasons being let down by the Club, we get possibly quite a good signing, which is all but done if the bit about the Blackpool Chairman is to be believed and our Club say diddly squat lol.  I don''t know why this should suprise me [:O]

But there still isnt a press conference of sorts, are they waiting until July 1st when they will do a proper unveiling with the two new signings and any more to come, with TV crews and photographers?

Doncaster never promised a Press Conf. he said to keep an eye out for announcements, which has happened

They will be bringing in new players on a daily basis as of next week so it would be easier to wait till the end of the month and exhibit them all at the same time.

As of just after 2 p.m. there were no plans for a press conference although one cannot be completely ruled out either - may well depend I guess on whether other "deals" make any progress or not.

There''s also no cast-iron guarantee that Hoolahan and Clingan are even in Norwich at the moment to be presented to the media. Clingan''s interview on the Official Site was via telephone and the quotes from Hoolahan don''t specify whether he was physically with the reporter when the quotes were taken. I figure both players were interviewed over the phone, and that they''re both away on their pre-season holidays. Therefore, like someone else said before, I can''t see new players being presented to the media until early next month.
