Green and Yellow 0 Posted October 27, 2007 There is discontent in the air everything has gone pear shaped. We are bottom of the league, not scoring or looking likely too. We are now entering the second week with out a manager. My question is '' What is going to happen to NCFC over the next 18 months'' and where will we be come May 2009''?. The ghost of Michael Theoklitos 0 Posted October 27, 2007 come on guys, lets stop being so negative.I agree, things look pretty bleak, but they''re not going to get any better getting on here and moaning about it. We need to get behind the guys, and hope the board makes a good decision.Look at Sunderland last year. They had a awful start to the year, and at the same time last year had something like 13 points. They went on to win the league once they hired a quality manager.Granted, I now our start is worse. Granted, we''re playing like a bunch of amateurs. But, I think showing our support would do more for the team than just flat-out negative moaning!Lets hope the board go and hire a quality manager to turn around our season like Keano did for them!! Also, your other point about Keane - he was appointed in August that season! In August, there is generally a points difference of around 4 from top to the bottom 3. We are in LATE OCTOBER! We are 21 points off the leaders and bottom of the pile...hang on... why am I even writing this? If we don''t get relegated this season, which I think we will because we are playing bloody awful football (and that''s WITH the support from the crowd I might add) then the highest we can aspire to is around last seasons pathetic finish of 16th. Dr. Ink 0 Posted October 27, 2007 We will be the new Nottingham Forest, once great, and now faded into nothingness. Thanks Delia!
kdncfc 0 Posted October 27, 2007 Keane was also given serious money to spend, can''t see that happening here. We have now got ourselves in a position where we need to win 2 or 3 games to lift us out of the bottom 3 and we don''t even look capable of winning 1. Unless we appoint a very good manager and back him with some serious cash we will go down, it really is as simple as that.
