Couple of suggestions for manager

steve cotterill

gary johnson

mick hartford

steve tilson

dennis wise

peter taylor

ian dowie

none of these really been mentioned maybe tilson a couple of times

i would be looking for cotterill/johnson as manager if i was on the board and had ambitions etc...

anyones thoughts on these?

johnson obv done v.gd job yeovil then took time at bristolc but finally got them promoted and signed some good players in trundle, mcindoe and sproule

hartford just needs a chance as manager i feel after being v.good number 2 guy

tilson got southend up through the leagues and to ldv vans final

dennis wise didnt do best jobs last year but did good job at swindon then done brill job at leeds this season

Gary Johnson - Might be the best person for the job (after Jewell) but I dont think he''ll leave Bristol Rovers, they could be in the Prem next year

Well said.  The "robust selection process" appears to be based upon the charming quality of the accent and the ability to talk a hind leg off a donkey rather than any actual managerial ability.

On that basis, what''s Jose Mourinho up to?
