A New Low (and this is up against stiff opposition)

Recommended Posts

Grant has now got to go, hasn''t he? How on earth any board in the world cannot sack this man I don''t know.

NCFC has tonight hit a new all-time low, at least in modern history. The script was perfectly written wasn''t it? Winless QPR, no clean-sheet this season, etc, etc.

Fulham away, Burnley at home, Wedensday + Scunthorpe at home, Wolves away, the list is endless of hapless city results, but tonight I''m afraid is the worst of the lot, as far as impact on our club.

The only half-good thing I can write is that at least (and I did not want us to lose tonight at all) this might force Delia''s hand, and PG will be replaced immediatly.

Never have I ever know such mis-placed opptimism, and never have I seen such a lacklustre city side.

I am not going to another game until something significant changes.  I work hard for a living and am not spending any more of my money on tickets, programmes, beers, to watch 90 minutes of people not trying or caring... it''s Sky TV for me and though that hurts, I feel it has to be done to send a message.  Hope I''m not alone.

I am not sure Doomcaster will agree with you. Expect something like "plucky QPR backed by billionaires playing the hearts out to impress the incoming manager"?

Facts are that of the 10 league games, 7 of them have been against teams in the bottom half. We have now played all the other members of the bottom four and have come away with one point out of nine, and more worryingly without barely registering a shot on target against any of them.

Even I''m shocked at this result......and that says it all.

I honestly don''t recall such a low point for the club in the 45 years I''ve supported them. It''s not just the team (we''ve had poor teams before).....it''s the whole shambles.

God help us........

A new low?  I could almost cry at the state of our beloved NCFC, but you can''t heap the whole of the problems down to Grant.  That man has tried, and failed, we are aware of it, and whats even more important he knows it.  He''s a man born of integrity and feel he will walk.

IMHO I feel his hands have been tied by the board.

If Peter Grant goes, I will then put my words into action and boycott meetings.

How have the board tied up his hands? he''s spent way over 3million since he''s been here, (in a year!) most championship clubs would love to be given 1million to spend let alone 3 million. The board have completley supported him so the board can''t be blamed, what more can they do?
