hogesar 10,761 Posted June 20, 2007 What season year are you in? After the first season, huckerby looses something stupid like 4-5 of his pace i think, acceleration etc.I''m in the premiership (on world class, won play offs woop woop!), currently 7th with 3 games in hand. I have billy sharp but, is not that good on the game but improves quick. Henderson improves dramatically and is currently in the top scores, infact 3rd i think! [:P]Cureton is quite good, earnshaw is quite underrated in some aspects, but it''s worked out on overall, and so his defensive ability knocks him down! 7rew 0 Posted June 20, 2007 Well if you are doing on fifa then one of their faults won''t be unable to score from their own half!Get a proper football game.

Cue the Pro Evo mentioning..Pro Evo lacks a good season mode and therefore i can''t get into it so much. You can''t score from half way on all difficulty modes, and its mainly a programming fault, so ner-ner [:P]
InLambertWeTrust! 0 Posted June 20, 2007 What game do u suggest then 7rew? Hogesar ive found this henderson is scarily good cureton has 5 more than him currently. Stupid question but what teams are u on manager mode?/
hogesar 10,761 Posted June 20, 2007 started of with Norwich, left after a season to Birmingham for 2 seasons, then norwich, got them promoted again, and now in total am in my 6th season with Norwich. Hendersons''s improved to a total of 76 for me now =--)

EA churn out the same sh*t year after year, and sadly mugs go for it! An awful game which has stagnated for many years, Pro Evo is brilliant (ever heard of Master League?) and just has everything. Yes it would be nice to have Norwich on it, but kits and licenses don''t compare to fantastic gameplay. What''s more, this year''s version is going to be amazing. 7rew 0 Posted June 20, 2007 PES''s Master League isn''t too bad. It is restricted to one leaguehowever - if you can''t win the premiership with any team on any ofthese games then there is something wrong. That it is a programming glitch speaks volumes for the game.Mind you PES can be a bit easy, for example my 6* 120 goals in 30match european super league season (master league) on PES 4 [itwas beating bayern, inter and liverpool 9-1 that got me that] that was the last season I played with that team - I was unbeaten inleague and cup (except possibly in the euro group league) for 5 seasonswith only 2 draws in that time.Currently playing as gorleston town on PES6 - 2nd in league behindchavski. Feeling quite good that I picked up Ashley Young, he''sbrilliant.
7rew 0 Posted June 20, 2007 Oh and as I have an x-port the game not having liscenced team doesn''tmatter - it takes me about 10 minutes to rectify that (depending on howesay it is to find a championship option file that is).

You can''t get away from the fact that manager mode on Fifa 07 is uncomparable to ''Master League'' on Pro Evo..
breaker2 0 Posted June 20, 2007 i just like playing fifa, ive never owned a PES and i dont think i ever will. I always thought gamers like PES and footballers liked fifa, mainly because its got all the licensing, you can also use it as a manager type game, like champ manager and lma. In my norwich career i got hacked off at Norwich''s meager transfer budget, signed Riquelme on a free transfer, paying him86000 a week! then sold himfor 20mill 2 weeks later, im on my8th season and am breezing the league, as you would expect!!!ha
7rew 0 Posted June 21, 2007 In the manager mode do you control the players during the games?
InLambertWeTrust! 0 Posted June 21, 2007 We better sign curo and sharp, on fifa (my first season) i won the league with 15 goals from cureton and 25 from sharp.
Polar 0 Posted June 21, 2007 you have the choice to watch the game from the touchline, instantly simulate or play it yourself.
djc 0 Posted June 21, 2007
you have the choice to watch .......,instantly simulate or play it yourself.
wow, what else would anyone sit in front of a computer to do??
7rew 0 Posted June 21, 2007 If you can simulate the matches then that is OK - I just don''t thinkyou should play the matches in management sims as it makes your teamoverpreform and less about the management. If the game is about beinggood at playing then the management should be at most a side issue. For a management simulator I personally play Hattrick - www.hattrick.org its a long term game though.
