Tufnell Park Canary 0 Posted March 17, 2004 I wonder if anyone can help me with this question-Has Iwan ever scored a hat-trick for Norwich?I can re-call a few braces over the years, but not sure about the magic 3...
Temp the Revelator 0 Posted March 17, 2004 Yes, he got a hat-trick against Stockport at home a couple of seasons ago in a 4-0 win.
Tufnell Park Canary 0 Posted March 17, 2004 Thanks templeton - you''ve quenched my thirst for Iwan based knowledge!
Temp the Revelator 0 Posted March 17, 2004 Don''t mention it! Anything else I can help you with, my database of trivial knowledge is immense!
The Man behind the man, behind the man 0 Posted March 17, 2004 I''ve got a slightly random teaser for you Templeton....Which Norwich player has played in the most positions for City? And.......what positions did he play in?
Temp the Revelator 0 Posted March 17, 2004 Ah, that would be Daryl Sutch then, who played in goal, across the back four, right across the midfied, and up front - and frequently on the bench!
Tufnell Park Canary 0 Posted March 17, 2004 I think its Daryl Sutch - he has even played in goal for norwich when our keeper was sent off and no subs were left. I think I remember the post match interview in which he said he had now played in all positions for City.
DumbleDelia is Magic 0 Posted March 17, 2004 It is indeed Daryl Sutch. He played in every position, including in goal. This happened away at Huddersfield when Marshall was sent off for a professional foul. Having no goal keeper on the bench Sutch went in and did a sterling job, until he conceded an own goal in the last minute. We lost 2-
The Man behind the man, behind the man 0 Posted March 17, 2004 Darly Sutch. The UK''s number 1 utility man. I''m sure i saw him moonlighting as Norwich manager once. He approached the side of the pitch and signalled the ref to take himself off. The arguement he had with himself in the dressing room was spectacular, if a little self absorbed. jon francis 0 Posted March 17, 2004 dumble delia think ul find we drew 1-1. Darel Russel scored his 1st goal for the club before paul hughes scored a late own goal equaliser.
Tumbleweed 106 Posted March 17, 2004 I don''t remember Sutch playing up front- when was that? What about Rob Newman- he played central defence, central midfield and up front. May even have played in goal one time.I''ve got another question. Where is Clint Easton these days?
susie b 0 Posted March 17, 2004 Clint''s probably at home right now, just down the road from me in Wymondham, watching tv! Scary, eh? No...not what he''s watching, but the fact that he might be able to see my window from his!
MadDan 0 Posted March 18, 2004 Templeton (or anothers for that matter)When did fog stop the FA Cup final ?
Tumbleweed 106 Posted March 18, 2004 Maybe he could come round and practice his corners in the garden? Maybe thats even more scary.
Bryan Gunn 0 Posted March 18, 2004 I think u''ll find Rob Newman did play in goal as well as every other position on the pitch. I think it may have been against Sheff wed after Gunny got sent off but don''t quote me on that.
