The Deadwood coach is heading to Carrow Rd !

Recommended Posts

My list  of passengers  to climb aboard the Deadwood coach and head out  to the badlands , is :-

Livermore ,    Grants sidekick  is one manager too many !and  is the probable  problem with

poor  team cohesion  ,  can`t see him getting along with  Grant !

Hunter ,  probably  clashes with Grants  ideas ,  so ditto  as above .....

Carolan  *   Anybody tell me why we need a sports " scientist " ?   doing a great job eh ?

Webb*  Can`t say his products   measure up too well !

William ,    ditto above .

Martin ,     Ditto above .

Drake *     Performance coach !!     you cannot be serious ?    git aboard .......

Team psychiatrist *    The couch is on the back seat   ... git aboard ......

M.L.J.   that leg will go again  , and soon !     limp aboad ,  what we paying you for ?

Safri ,    only consistant thing about him , is the groin injury !

Doc ,   useless .....

McVeigh  , chip on his shoulder  is now a log !   becoming fat and lazy

Thats the first coach full   ,  giddyup  , and don`t spare the horses !

There`s a second coach  heading this way  , should be here soon  ,  some passenger  who could be  climbing aboard  that one , if they don`t shape up  ,  are :-

Hughes .

Thorne .

Jarvis.

Robinson .

All the above  would benefit  from  playing in a  settled team  , managed soley by Grant !

We have to keep the core part of the team   , which is  :-

Croft .

Drury,

Hucks.

Colin.

Etuhu.

Earnshaw.

Shackell.

Gallacher.

Eagle.

Lewis.

These players  have shown some backbone . and willingness to  make them have it  when it starts to go tits up  ,   Grant  has to be totally in control  from now on   , it looks like there`s far to many  " managers "   putting their snouts in  ,      rant over  .......   [:^)]

Yeeeeeeeeeeee,ha! Sheded.

Those wagons were in a circle yesterday but still Stoke got through.

I can see Calamity Deals ridin'' on top crackin her whip just like Doris Day and arriving to sup with her Board at the Last Chance Saloon.

I agree that such remedial work is essential, but like any maintenance if it is left it costs more in the end and that is why the Board now have to spend BIG to turn things around before we end up on Boot Hill.

There''s a lot of contracts to pay up there and I wonder if the bullet might be bitten.

Ha! Ha! very amusing.

I agree with parts of your post.

For me the dead wood at our club is as follows.

Doug Livermore. He is part of the Worthington regime and he needs to go because i don''t like a major part of Worthingtons regime still have a significant role in the management of our team.

Fleming. Great servant to the club but now too old.

Louis Jean. Neil Emblen springs to mind with this guy. He is contracted till the end of the season so we may as well pay him off in January if we can and get someone else in who PG wants.

McVeigh. Talented but he has gone stale at the club and needs to move on for his and our own good. Contracted till the end of the season i beleive so as with MLJ pay him off.

Hughes. Tries but simply isn''t good enough. Trouble is he is contracted for another 18 months so we might be lumbered with him.

Robinson. Simply average at best. Trouble is contracted for another 18 months ditto the same as Hughes.

Hendersen. Not got any better in the 3 years he has been playing. Not going to be good enough. Another of NW''s favourites. Contacted till the end of the season?

Thorne. Waste of space. Whether he is past it or has an attitude problem or both i don''t know. Contacted till the end of season. Pay off in January.

Dion Dublin. Why did we sign him? I am sure he tries but too old and not good enough now. Contracted till end of season. Pay off in January.

Jarvis. Either sort your self out Ryan or go.

Now that is over half of our team.

Can we have a turn around of such numbers in January? is the money there to pay off their contracts and bring in new players?

Time will tell.

Also i beleive that we may have to sell Earnie in Janaury in order for PG to rebuild the team. That would be painful yes but may be the only way forward for us.

Why does the doc get so slated on here from the games i watch he always gives 100% and dominates anything in the air, give it a rest and stop slagging of one member of the team who seems to care.
