colin VS halford

Recommended Posts

there were a lot of people wanting us to sign halford in the summer.

after last night im glad we didn''t. imo colin is slowly improving he has not been to bad this year.

last night he made good interceptions, made lots of good forward runs, and got some crosses in.

his positional sense is getting better to. However his passing still needs to improve.

i was disappointed with Halford, he had it easy in the first half eagle. But in the second a half fit hux took him apart.

and whats all this arm rising when someone is going to cross, a sure way of giving a free kick or penalty away. don''t think he is better than what we have.

what do you think ?

Hux took him apart in the second half? Not when I was watching he didn''t. Halford didn''t have too much trouble with Huckerby, who resorted to drawing free kicks because he was knackered.
Hux took him apart in the second half? Not when I was watching he didn''t.
I think he was suggesting that a fit Huckerby would have taken him apart. Since he wasn''t totally fit that clearly didn''t happen.

colin has never done anything wrong he has had steady prefomances gradually getting better.huckerby never really got a proper run at halford because he was tired from the start i think

I think by the very fact that Hucks can tear many Prem defenders to shreds (when there aren''t 15 of them man-marking him, as there were the other season) we can assume that Dr Livingstone meant that a fit Hucks would have taken Halford apart... I think, anyway... [:S]
