Leon has been signed for an initial £600,000 rising to £1,000,000 based on apperances etc, and we have also missed out on Cotterill,even though he signed personal terms and passed a medical, after Wigan put in an 11th hour bid, and lured the player with premiership football.

I dont get it, we wanted an extra stirker but now we''ve sold one instead. I wanted mckenzie to go, but we needed to replace him. Cotteril has rejected us for Wigan, when we bid 2 million quid, we even had agreed personal terms. Now, by the sounds of the club website we''ll end up with nobody and less strikers than we started with.

Apparently Cotterill had signed for us for £2 million after passing a medical this morning but before Bristol could complete the paper work, Wigan came in and signed him with a promise of Premiership football.....bummer!
