I want to be entertained

Recommended Posts

I haven''t been on these boards for a while as they are so depressing. However, nothing can get more depressing than the Leicester game. Personally I think Huckerby did dive but who will ever know for sure. But I was so bored with the game that I could''nt muster the energy to stand and applaud. This is the first time ever that I have not bothered to get excited about a Norwich City goal.

Applaud what? The game was shocking and pointless. I have watched West Ham a few times this season - what a delightful attacking team! I wouldn''t rather see Norwich play decent attacking football and lose, rather than the passionless drivel we have had to endure for most of this season.

Also, why do people rate Safri? He set up the goal, yes. But apart from that what has he done since his African holiday? When will we see a Norwich midfielder run forward with the ball? When Hughes wants the ball he runs to the edge - why?

An extremely frustrated and bored football fan.

Its another doppleganger nolegs - cant we do anything to stop these sad individuals who can only be bothered to attack other posters by a form of identity theft?  Thats several posters copied now and they add nothing useful to any discussion

Football is in the entertainment business. Thats why I have been paying my season ticket fee when I could go and do much cheaper pastimes. Winning is part of that, but the leicester game and most of this season proves that it is not everything. The die hards whose life is NCFC will always go, but fans who have other interests and youngsters who are not hooked will just walk away. You can get quite a lot of entertainment for £25 certainly more than 1.5 hrs of tedium.

Thanks Gazban. Well put. I''ve signed up for next season, however after the Leicester game I wonder why.
