Goal of the season contender?

Recommended Posts

Nice Rabona.

It's clearly a miss hit cross. Unless the new Messi is somehow playing for Hull.

It's also an own goal, there is a better angle which shows the ball heading wide until the clips the top of the cb head.

Has been a good season for goals generally; fassnachts yest rightly celebrated

Yes I did see that too, it is a great piece of skill but by their own rules it should really be.

Philigene is a special player; def helped he was injured when we won there.

Agreed - seen it on BBC to check how good it really was and boy was it a screamer. Very, very similar to THAT strike from Safri v Newcastle. Lucky old River End!

Well, I was in Lower Barclay and we possibly got a better view as I saw the flight and the ball movement. Mates in the River End didn't see much of it I don't think!

Sorry, but I'm not having this. Safri's goal was from about 10 yards further out and was hit with the outside of his right foot - not the inside of his left.

The goal which WAS very, very similar was Vrancic's against Blackburn the night we got promoted. 1:40 to 2:30 here.
