Crickey. John Berylson the owner and chairman has died in a Tragic Accident with no further details. RIP

Millwall manager Gary Rowett has praised John Berylson for his supportive approach.The Lions owner appointed the 47-year-old as manager in October 2019. 'It has been a breath of fresh air to work with someone like John,' said Rowett.'We probably speak two or three times a week and normally straight after a game. With some owners you only hear from them from time to time, and that’s fine, but John loves the club and wants to know what is going on day to day. I just have some really good conversations with him'

Heard the boy Steve Morrison on Five Live this morning speaking very passionately about Berylson and the support he always gave him. Clearly a much admired and respected owner.

Millwall's owner and chairman John Berylson died from injuries sustained after his car overturned and hit a tree in the United States.

 

Emergency services responded shortly before 08:00 local time and found Berylson, the sole occupant, trapped inside the car.
