This is straight from the FA rulebook.

Would we have a case if we were to appeal Hanley's first booking, citing rule 13 here? It looked like Omobamidele committed the offence that Hanley was booked for, although I fear that the FA would probably back the ref and say that Hanley was booked for something else.

Worth a try? The alternative would presumably be Gibson, who is unlikely to be fully fit, or Tomkinson, who has yet to make his senior debut.

All very well.selling zimmerman and lees melou when we had a fully fit squad...doesnt take too many injurues and suspensions to highlight our lack of depth there.

The only area where we could afford to have trimmed the squad was wingers...nor centre halves and midfielders

So if club doesn’t submit a mistaken identity claim (whenthey can be charged with misconduct? Odd. 🤔

Isn’t there a danger they give Omobamidele the red he probably deserves? Probably also keep Hanley’s yellow knowing our luck.

Every year we seem to have this debate that 4 CBs is enough and every year we seem to prove that it isn't.

Disciplinary procedures are still governed by the FA, including appeals.
