Kev Baldwin 0 Posted November 18, 2005 Everyone''s heard the news about Roy Keane leaving Manure...The question is, will Worthy try and lure him here? That would be a midfield of "steel"!**Disclaimer - I know it will never happen**Kev
Karl Pilkington 0 Posted November 18, 2005 Pesky disclaimer!!! I was about to shoot you down with the obvious wage demands, injury proneness, and bad temperanment!!I still have not forgiven him for his comments regarding Norwich in his autobiography. He was refering to teams playing better aggainst Man Utd than they normally would (Man Utd v Norwich Match where we wound up Cantona and he stamped on Polston but was not sent off, finished 2-0 to Utd). He refered to us playing well and saying "why don''t they put that much effort in every week then they would be playing for a team better than Norwich". I don''t know many people witha bigger superiority complex and arrogance than him.

AJ 1,358 Posted November 18, 2005 kev, two things:1) Money - we wouldnt be able to afford his wages2) Realism............. get real, Keane come here? besides at his age we would get 2 maybe 3 seasons at most out of him which isnt a step foward at all
