Samwam27 606 Posted January 21, 2018 Had we had two main/decent strikers (to provide serious competition) one could have played against Chelsea, the other against Sheff U. Proper squad rotation to play with fresh legs.Secondly, it''s been apparent all season we have a serious lack of depth in our squad. Whenever we''ve played our "b" team players (e.g. against Burton) we''ve looked seriously short in quality. And thirdly, yes we may have to sell/loan to free up wages before we can buy/loan in, but ncfc never ever learn. You can structure a deal to let a player go, but make it conditional it happens once a replacement is secured. We''ve let 5 out the door, and our striking options are now an embarrassement, and only one kid who''s come in. It happens every season. What happens now if we can''t get a striker. It''s happened on so many occasions (Doncaster always used to give us speal about trying but something unexpected occured at last moment)This club was, and always will have bad management, and let''s us fans down. Makes it worse when Balls tell us we''ve made mistakes in transfer market, and yet carries on making ludicrous ones beyond that!
Rogue Baboon 0 Posted January 21, 2018 It’s not just a striker though. We only have 1 right back and 1 winger. It’s not good enough for this league.I would say you want 2 strikers competing for that starting spot, with another ‘option’ In your squad as well.
kingsway 101 Posted January 21, 2018 Thinning out the biggest earners many of whom weren''t featuring was enevitable but at the moment we are living on a wing and a prayer. Lose to Oliviera and Pinto to long term injuries and we would be struggling big time!

Guest Posted January 21, 2018 Is it February? No, but we have already missed 21 days of this window. It can''t all be down finances.I was impressed with the speed of signings in the summer but this window is just adding to the frustration.
