In the 18 months since Alex Neil has been the manager has any player improved in performance. Cannot think of any single City player improved under Neil. The same was true also regarding Hughton whereas under Lambert a number of players dramatically adapted from Div 1 to PL.

Our good young manager is failing in another area you would expect some progress look at Eddie Howe. At least so far today Neil hasn''t laid any eggs in transfer dealings remember Andreu, Jarvis and Naismith but plenty of time to go. Jury out on Oliviera though.

To be fair, the entire teams performance increased considerably in the months after he took over.

Then we were in the Premier League where we would have struggled regardless of who was manager.

So really its based on the 5 games this season...

As for Howe, how did his stint at Burnley work out?

Redmond improved under both.

Grabban vastly improved in the Championship under him.

now that the window has closed i suspect we may see a downturn in performance quality as the chance of an escape move has gone.
