I''ve loved the thread this week. It''s certainly kept my mind offthe

transfer window hysteria while Trent making it a hat-trick of wins was a bright

spot in a dull day yesterday. We had a winning debut from Winky but most

impressive debut goes to Hammond1612 who suggested Lyon to win away at 13/10.

But this was nowherenear being the best value pick because Wooster came good

with another draw at 5/2. Parma sent me off to Denmark to find out thefortunes

of Brondby''s ladies team. They won 9-0 at 1/100. But while I was looking I

stumbled across (honest guv!) how this ladies team celebrate their wins :

On to the stats. Another impressive 56 of you made suggestions for this

weekend and as trent predicted 47 of you made good picks (84%). 30 different

outcomes were suggested of which 21 were right (70%). The  bigger than usual

difference between these percentageswas due to a massive 19 PUPs selecting Man

City. It''s always good to have a banker.

 

 

We have a new leader in the Pups league however it''s early days and i

think stamina could be an issue.....
