  1. Alex Neil has got us one point out of six. He might technically of been manager before but clearly they were not playing his brand of football, that should be glaringly obvious. Now he''s got them playing his tactics it looks as bad as at anytime, probably worse. I think we are in big trouble as this experiment unfolds. Adams knows the Championship better and he had an idea of what the players could do. AN looks clueless to me about players or the league we are in and the style of play is horrible to watch. If the majority are happy with that, God help us.
  2. Please someone point at one thing on Saturday that makes you think AN has a clue about the players or championship football. Show me where he is not a very large step back from Adams? The Man or Woman that sits next to you every Saturday , would they of put that team out in those positions, would you clearly demotivate a team before kick off? Would you have a plan B if your wild plan A was not working. We had just found winning ways and then some idiot comes in and changes the game and he wonders why the players lacked enthusiasm. You only change a losing game. Of course the players had no heart, they are having to take orders from someone way out of their depth that has little idea. Then he comes on the media and tells them its all their fault. This guy will make Roeder look like a good idea.
  3. he has zero percentage win average with Norwich. Saturday was the first Alex Neil team, the rest was Adams and Phelan. Saturday was the first outing for AN''s strategy and style. Punt and run was about all there was on offer.
  4. Seriously its the first time I''ve been in favour of a quick exit for a manager. Nothing was right about Saturday. In fact I think its worse than just a bad day. The team looked like they had had the stuffing knocked out of them from the kick off. I think the reason could be the last few games they thought they had clicked as a team.m Players were being played to their strength for once and not asked to do alien jobs. It was working, we were scoring goals and winning matches. Suddenly they are back with a manager that has a fixed idea and asks the players to play their un-natural game, it wasn''t working. Did he change the system at any point? No. We have been here before recently it didn''t work and the football was awful. Honestly McNally should be on the phone begging Phelan and Adams to return. This is the highest position Alex Neil will ever take Norwich too. If it continues like this despite the season ticket I can find better things to do on a Saturday afternoon, I don''t think I can go through the crap manager thing yet again. Saturday was way beyond poor, clueless. Players normally want to do well for a new manager, I think he has lost the dressing room already.
  5. They showed all the City mistakes that resulted in goals. Of course Liverpool were perfect, so that makes the two we scored what? genius? lucky? Shocking coverage, i spoke to Liverpool fans after the match, they considered themselves lucky to get 3 points. Shocking MOD analysis. The standing ovation at the end was a better assessment of the game.
  6. RVW should of been dropped some moths back for his own sake. His confidence is completely blown. His first touch is so so loose I can''t believe he has only ever been that good. I think a lot of blame has to go towards Hughton, he''s spent two years knocking round pegs into square holes. None of our strikers have done well under Hughton, not even Holt. The service has not improved much either over the season. If we had bought Bale his instruction would be never cross the halfway line. RVW must of been better than this, no one would of signed a player on the skills displayed of late. When first here he made decent runs but no ball ever came his way. Disappointing all-round but not all his fault. look how Kamara showed promise and was dumped into a position where he couldn''t play to his attributes. I think Adams will play RVW. A couple of winners in the next few games and he will be worth every penny :-)
  7. Well on paper yes. If it always went the way of form, each and everyone of us would be winning the Pools (do they still exist?) most weeks. The favourite would always win at the races etc. It''s not a two horse race, WBA and Swansea are not safe. I think the fact we have such tough games takes the pressure off us a bit. Plus those teams we are playing will have a lot of pressure on them, they need the points too. We are now a bit more of an unknown quantity, more of a loose cannon than we were under Hughton. I don''t think any of the teams we are yet to play will consider getting 3 points off us is a done deal. So maybe we shouldn''t believe loosing the last games is a matter of fact. I think WBA are well in it, they have hard games. Sunderland will have a point to prove, how often does a team relegated put on a show when the pressure is off? at home too. Swans last set of games are not a push over either. OK I''m clutching at straws. But nothing is predictable in life, certainly not my life. It will be nice then we pull it off and stick two fingers up to the media as an extra bonus. Come on guys the fat lady isn''t on stage yet, lets not sing her song for her.
  8. I think Adams is a great choice. He proved with the youth he knows it''s a team game. Beside if Glenn Rhoeder thought him useless, he must be a ******* genius. Not saying he will keep us up for sure but a much better chance than Hughton was giving us. Come on Adams show the doubters. I think the season just got a little trickier for Fulham, Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal. Nothing like the Gunn appointment. Adams has a lot more about him as a manager.
  9. What did did Hughton see in his tactics after 30 mins that would lead him to think we could win that match? What was the point in changing our left hand side of the team but persist in playing down the right. Hopeless in every department, tactics and ball playing ability.
  10. Honestly I would be just as happy if Adams got the job. He showed with the youth team he understands football as a team game. Cheap option too.
  11. The fact about Hughton that has me thinking he''s not the man is this. We had a striker that consistently bagged a hat full of goals for us in every level he played at….until Hughton. We have proven goal scorers in the team now, but not under Hughton they don''t. We have players quite capable of creating chances for our strikers, but it doesn''t happen. We are slow, we don''t make it easy for the player on the ball, no one makes a run. We play more like a Fussball team than a football team, that has got to be down to manager tactics. No one is enjoying what''s going on, fans or players.
  12. Malky would be more of the same. I would like to see at least one decent game this season. AVB for me, at least we would see a team trying to play football, God knows what I''m watching at the moment.
