  1. Green Edworthy  Fleming(c)  Docherty  Charlton Mcveigh  Francis  Mulryne  Huckerby Ashton  Mckenzie(if injured-jarvis)   Are any of them injured? i forget whos fit and whos not-have i missed any1 out?  otherwise, what do you think?
  2. last year(our promotion year) we were very lucky on the injury front, i think because of last years luck were being paid for it! just heard bentley and helveg are going to be out for a few weeks minimum, thats prompted me to say we need a midfielder and defender now! forget about harewood now NW, you''ve got ashton so just try and work with him around what we already have up front! now midfield-i would seriouly consider a move for jason koumas-out of favour at w.b.a and could help fill void, otherwise look for loan signing from somewhere! defence not to sure, dean richards maybe or then just look abroad for loan signing-anyone can only help at the mo!
  3. i personally think he''ll go for harewood, then get a defender on loan or free transfer! if harewood doesnt work out, he''ll sign someone like scowcroft or hulse(despite being linked with sheff utd) on the cheap and then a defender aswell(that bloke form aberdeen isnt there?) despite all the bad press, id like to give dean richards a go! he once cost what was it £8mill and he rejected soton last week, i reckon a loan deal untill end of season could be on the cards! although his reason for not going to soton was that he didnt want to move to far south, and stay in the london area-norfolk isnt exactly what he wants though probably!
  4. if its gonna happen its gonna have to be soon so we can take advantage of the cash! not to sure about sorenson though, usually reliable but 2 big mistakes against B''ham and sheff utd!
  5. i keep reading that were linked with James ScowcroftPhil McGuireRob Hulsedo we expect any? NW said he wanted 2 new players for the villa game, he''s got 1, what about the other? personally i''d like to see Hulse arrive on the cheap, i know he rejected us before but the Hulse/Ashton partnership at Crewe was awesome and as i said we''d get him on the cheap. W.B.A got him for £750,000 so if there trying to get rid of him-£400,000(bargain) Phil McGuire, not to sure what he''s like but i suppose the backroom staff must of done their work, so if he''s good enough-why not? Scowcroft, with the arrival of Ashton i wouldnt be to fussed if we did get him-the figure being branded is £500,000, could be worth a go! isn''t it weird,as soon as deano joins every player should wanna come in my eyes?
  6. I under estimated the bloke, the smell of fish must of been, well you catch my drift! lol!
  7. I estimated the bloke, the smell of fish must of been, well you catch my drift! lol!
  8. is the length of this transfer starting to smell a bit fishy, or is it me!?
  9. according to the daily mail palace matched our price but he snubbed in talking to them cos he wanted to talk to us! HURRY UP DEAN!
  10. you''d think if the board were willing to pull out the stops to get the £2.5 mill to even speak personal terms, then they wont let it slip from their grasps now! i just want it to happen soon before i have a heart attack!
  11. why is it taking them so long to agree personal terms-i keep thinking that he doesnt want to join!
  12. according to sky sports news he is still in talks! my finger nails cant take anymore!
  13. Nigel Worthington had one simple message for those who witnessed Ryan Jarvis'' 88th minute wonder strike in the 2-1 defeat by Liverpool at Carrow Road yesterday: "The kids aren''t the answer!" The kids aren''t the answer, neither is Ashton,Zamora,Bent who the hell is then?????????????? please sort it out-sooner rather than later!
  14. worthy asking the board for the money to sign huckerbymckenziesvenssonor worthy asking the board for the money to sign ashtonim certainly not sure!
  15. im a bit unsure about what is the best option! because face facts on the results, injuries and teams around us picking up points gradually were bound to go down, as much as it saddens me to say it, but if we sell greeno in jan and get 2 strikers from his money in to score us goals to stay up or keep greeno, buy only 1 player and probably end up relegated, then sell him in summer b''cos he wont want to play in championship! aaaarrrrggghhhhh!!!!!!!! what do we do! its sooooooooo tricky! who''d be a manager!
  16. Boro target Green as Schwarzer replacementby Paul Fraser MIDDLESBROUGH will decide whether to table a bid to land Norwich City goalkeeper Robert Green only after the future of Mark Schwarzer has been resolved. The Aussie keeper and his agent Barry Silkman have rejected a contract offer from Boro - with a switch to Manchester United remaining a strong possibility - and he is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with interested clubs next month. With the impasse over negotiations between the two there is a chance that Schwarzer will be sold at a knock down price in January if a suitable replacement can be found. And Green is believed to be high on manager Steve McClaren''s list of replacements having worked with him when the England squad have met up in the past. The chances of McClaren landing his man as early as January look slim after the player, who has a contract until 2007, recently insisted that he would be unwilling to turn his back on Norwich until the summer at least. By waiting until the end of the season Green could come at a much cheaper price with the Canaries battling to avoid relegation in their first year back in the Premiership. As things stand, it is understood Norwich would contemplate selling if an offer over £4m was tabled. It is unlikely that Middlesbrough would be willing to pay such a fee at this stage, but January appears to be the best opportunity for the Teessiders to conclude a deal. If they were to wait, and retain the services of Schwarzer until May and work on trying to find a solution to the contract wrangle that has ran for months, then champions Arsenal are sure to make a move for Green. The Gunners are also looking to strengthen in the goalkeeper department with criticism hurled Jens Lehmann and Manuel Almunia''s way after some costly errors. Green has his future panned out and he wants to stay in the Premiership if Norwich go down. He would prefer a move to Highbury and Arsene Wenger rates him highly. Schwarzer, meanwhile, is nowhere nearer to signing a new contract and the chance of the 32-year-old departing grow stronger by the day. Middlesbrough''s first-choice shot-stopper claimed last night that there is a chance he could be sold when the transfer window opens on January 1. Middlesbrough insist ''negotiations are ongoing'' and that they are still hopeful an agreement can be reached. But Schwarzer believes it is up to the club to come to him with an offer he deems suitable. "I''ve got no intentions of leaving in January but you never know in football. Things can change very quickly, the club can sell me, though I can decide whether I go or not," said Schwarzer, who arrived from Bradford in 1997. "I''ve declined the offer, there''s nothing else to it, things are as they are, there''s been no progress and it''s as simple as that. "That''s the way things are in football, contracts run out and you either agree a new one or you don''t. "When it comes down to deciding, the club have to make a decision on what they want to offer a player, pure and simple."   this was on www.thisisthenortheast.co.uk
