1. Jason Jarrett seems to be getting off lightly here - unless I''ve missed him being mentioned...
 2. 1) Whittaker (I missed his apparent clanger against Everton, but even if it was the worst own-goal ever, he''d still be top of my list)2) Ruddy (likely to fall down the list due to the very unfortunately timed injury)3) Tetty / Holt / Hoolahan / Johnson (in a dead heat for 3rd)
 3.
I didn''t see it like that, or are my gasses "green and yellow" tinted ????
That''ll be the festive sprout diet.
 4. Gotta agree that Snodgrass has been poor in the 2nd half thus far.  :(
 5. I''ll get in and out of this thread quickly before the eternal optimists come and smash us to pieces with their hammers of shining happiness, but, I feel your pain.  That said, I think Hughton will keep us up - and for that reason, at this time, he is the right man for the job - it''s just doesn''t look like it''s going to be pretty watching him do it.  I''m starting to think of the whole situation as ''growing pains'' which every team has to go through as they establish themselves in the top flight.PS - Wouldn''t really say Pilkington is slow.
 6.
An away point anywhere in the Premier League is a good point. But you have to say it will be harder to win those extra two points at most other away grounds.Too much stick. Not enough twist.
Agreed, it was a hard earned point against a comparatively weaker side.I''m a little disappointed with how Hughton set up not to lose the game, rather than allowing a little more creative quality in the team. It''s possible to still be compact defensively (which we were excellent at today) and still retain possession better going forward (which we were horrendous at), and whilst the player performances weren''t spectacular, it seems quite clear to me that the "we mustn''t concede" mindset was the cause of this.I''m feeling kind of grumbly right now, and ordinarily a point away from home is a minor celebratory occasion... :(
 7.
Great chance for Holt to head us into the lead, mistimes his jump roles out of his back, sums up this game really.
The defender got a slight touch on it.In other matters, whilst I think Hughton will keep us up this season, I am mourning the loss of my eyesight, which bear the tell-tale scars of ugly football.
 8.
yessssss! Bunn will replace Ruddy on Currant form!
I see what you did there...Very droll.
 9. Tierney should count himself very lucky.  What was he thinking making that challenge in the box?
 10.

I just don''t rate Ryan Bennett at all.......[:(]
Bit harsh.  He is a central defender playing totally out of position.
Any professional footballer should be able to kick a ball properly... he simply can''t.
Agreed, he could have at least kept it down. I vastly prefered Whitbread to him last season, but I''m not going to crucify him for a not finishing a chance slightly trickier than some of the ones our forwards didn''t put away.

 12. This has been one of the most wasteful performances I have seen in a long time, thus making Hughton''s choice to let Vaughan leave with no replacement very questionable.  Getting an untried youngster from Spurs doesn''t count.
 13.
It was Ryan Bennett who just smashed a cross into the sky...
Oh, it was?  My bad.
 14.
I''m going for a lucky dump.
Get it enameled and bring it with you every game as a talisman.
 15.
EB for Snodgrass?  Why why why why why?
Completely baffling.
 16.
It''s David Fox time for me.
he''s not even on the bench.  :(Howson is our next best hope.  Please hughton, get him on.
 17.
Tettey off? you are joking, been our best player so far!!!
Hehe, it''s always strange how people can have such polar opposite opinions from the same game, but yes, Tetty off.Not because he has done anything particularly wrong, but I just feel that we need a little more guile in midfield, and Jonno is better in a purely defensive role, therefore Tetty gives way, IMO.
 18. In a magical world where I am omnipotent and can make changes from my sofa:Tetty off, Howson onAnd maybe around the 65ish minute mark, Hoolahan off, Morison On.It''s a shame Hughton doesn''t appear to rate him, as this game is made for Fox.  Not even on the bench :/
 19.

*tin hat on*This is the wrong line up.  We were always going to have more possesion in this game in comparison to the arsenal match.  I''m concerned that Hughton didn''t make any adjustments to hurt Villa more in the final 3rd.The Arsenal result was great, but it was last week.  We need a different strategy to combat different teams.
Oh right, so we finally get our best line up against Arsenal, and it shows as we play well and win, and now, in spite of dominating, we go a goal down so you say it''s selection!! Jeez.
The best line up is the one that gets the optimal results.  So, yes. It''s no use "dominating" if you lose.  We''re certainly not dominating now.
 20.
tettey is strong/runs around a lot, but his distribution is terrible, havnt seen a player that clumsy for a long timethe passing has been abysmalthe final ball is cr@p
^Totally agree.
