I bet the last thing on Hooper''s mind at this very moment is not joining us. As for bullets dodged, I guess we are still favourites to go back for him in the Summer, when he is likley to be cheaper. -
NN,Do you have a view why your ''childish'' thread was removed yesterday?. I didn''t spot it before disappeared and would be interested in your perception, without opening up the debate again as that will cleary risk another disappearence.
-
Ron,I dont want to distract from Purples'' discussion, so this will be a quick over and out post from me. All I can say is that you must be reading very different threads from me, but I will concede that I used the term ''delia worshippers'' in the descriptive rather derogatory sense to describe two very distinct positions which have been debated endlessly to death on this site many times before. So I apologise if anyone was offended by my terminology.

Purple,Each to their own (after this is a board for sharing opinions), but hypothesising about future ownership is juts like guessing what the first 11 will be in five years time. Good luck with your discussion and lets hope that you dont get bogged down into the ususal entrenched positions!

Exactly Jas. Few people on this site would be bold enough to walk into a working man''s pub and be as bold in case they got thumped. I am not advocating violence, but just pointing out that we could perhaps adopt the standards of behaviour that would be the norm in a pub, although no doubt I will be derided as being out of touch with modernity. My analogy also reminds me of the time when I was getting flashed and gesticulated at from the car behind until the point where a long queue ahead was encountered. Suddenly, the gentleman in the car behind was desperate to avoid any eye contact with me and perhaps was feeling a tad less brave.

Cue endless pages of Delia worshippers and Cullumites reigniting pages of arguments from years back. What is the point of digging up the past again when there is little prospect of any change in ownership at the club until the death of our majority shareholders?

I predict that this thread will also disappear as soon as it is detected by certain posters. The trouble is that there is no sanctions. Simply having a thread pulled is not a deterrant to those that flout the rules. We either need a complete free for all or some enforcement of standards. Either would seem better than the covert protetcion of certain well known posters on this board - others have been banned for fewer transgressions.

Having one class of fan looking down on another class of fan is indeed moronic behaviour in my book and I would argue that this sort of attitude has no place in any new beginning on this site. I am sure that you would support this sentiment Mr Tilson as a former chair of a supporters organisation. -

I didnt say I was a new poster and its just as well that I know about how welcoming this board is. I have already been accused of being an imposter, now a liar to add the heinous crime of mis typing a word. I thought I read somewhere about there being a new start on this board and not being offensive to other posters. Hardly a nice welcome from you Nigel -

Gay, black, jewish, irish jokes are always funny when your not the butt end of the joke. I bet that liitle kid would be chuffed to bits to find that someone in England thinks it is really funny to use his image to make a cheap joke about a football team. -

Ha ha, super sleuth Nigel thinks that I am Smudger (presumably along with every other new poster that has an opinion). I was under the impression that he lived in Norfolk and had been to a home game in the last 16 years. -

Oh dear Mr C, as someone who infrequently attends games and makes spelling mistakes, I guess that makes me one of the lower caste then. Crikey, next someome will be telling me that you have to be a university educated season ticket holder before you are allowed to express an opinion on hear. -

Til,I wasnt aware it was you that coined the phrase plastics, but thanks for semingly confirming this. Its funny that your kind acuse LDC of being overly sensitive, but how your tune changes when it applies to you.I also wasnt aware that usage of the word moron was copyrighted by individual posters. Gee, I am not even the only poster on this page to use the word! -

So you think that your post depicting a child which in inferred to be a poor African child is acceptable for a cheap laugh then? -

I havent been to a home match in 16 years, but before I moved away I probably attended something like 300 matches, including both recent cup semi-finals and the Milk Cup. But funnily enough, I dont feel the slightest need to justify my love the club to the sneering morons on hear that coined the phrase ''plastics''. -

"A man who views the world at 50 the same as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life."Judging by your last pictorial post Til, you have indeed wasted 30+ years of your life. No worries though as I am sure your friend Pete will come along and clear up your tracks for you again. -
Its all very academic. Either he is a roaring success (meaning Blackburn somehow get promoted or seek to cash in) or he flops and is available for a knock down price. Either way he is not a City player at present, and under either of the success/failure scenarios, nor is he ever likley to be in the near future.OTBC
