  1. A good summary of the final grift of the Trump presidency here - from today's hearing.
  2. From today's hearings ... oh dear of dear.... fraud? You don't say .....
  3. Meanwhile, this is why I care about all of this - the rules are for you but not for me philosophy we see so frequently from the modern right in politics leads to these kind of issues. She's the wife of a sitting Supreme Court judge for goodness sake. And who is going to adjudicate the inevitable appeal of any Trump conviction? .....
  4. Other than that Mrs Lincoln, how was the show?
  5. Tonight was a popcorn sort of night... stay tuned, much more to come....
  6. I think these two are very worried.... especially Hannity who was directly involved.
  7. And right on cue, Fox "news" declines to cover the Jan 06 Committee report and fires up "the immigrants are coming" story.....
  8. Up to 20 years Horsefly. Sedition is only one step below treason. Definitely watch this space. https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2384 If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.
  9. More movement ... Thursday is when the Jan 06 Committee starts its multi-day report on the sedition plot and Capitol riot.
  10. It's been a while, but finally some movement against the inner circle of the Jan 06 conspirators. Note that they arrested him, they didn't take the chance that he'd try and bolt...
  11. Based on his "performance" tonight for Scotland he might want to consider a loan to Town next year. Ipswich Town that would be. Absolutely shocking. No physical presence, no direction, passing abysmal. But hey, a future Chelsea superstar eh?
  12. From the article ... Gilmour has shown flashes of absolute brilliance that suggest he could be a real star of the future Yeah absolutely .. this The 20-year-old managed 24 league games for Norwich with one assist No way! Say it isn't so?
  13. I mentioned those in my earlier post - ice hockey and basketball. Because they need the same size arena and its one that's also common used for concerts...and why would opening new restaurants be a bad idea now?
  14. Meanwhile, quite frankly neither deserve to be promoted - obviously one will - based on the appalling lack of quality on display on this game. Like I have said before I'll be stunned if we don't finish in the top six next season, or even top two given the state of the Championship.
  15. We can live with the ref making his call, he's only human, and mistakes can be accepted. It's the VAR officials, they are there with the benefit of technology to correct mistakes. And then they make decisions like that... it's pathetic and corrupt.
  16. See my comments about potential to turn Carrow Road and surrounding land into a multi-team sports park. Revenue in the EPL is mainly about TV money, any attendance gap can be closed with turning your site into a multi-stream revenue generator via multiple teams, multi-use venues and restaurants. A strategy that only works if you have an economically thriving city to support it - Norwich does and Sunderland doesn't.
  17. One way to add value to the infrastructure is to turn the Carrow Road site into a multi-sport destination. A multi-use stadium adjacent to the football stadium for ice hockey, basketball and concerts is a pretty common recipe in the US, and the Brewer's owner already is a part owner of Milwaukee's ice hockey team. Then you have the footprint and attendance to make restaurants and retail economical.
  18. A revamped AND mixed development City Stand? Can't see it - there is hardly any space behind the existing stand, if there is to be mixed use redevelopment that could only be of and behind the South Stand, including the existing car park and potentially the land between Kerrison Road, the river and the Norwich to London railway lines. That's a quite attractive chunk of real estate that would be perfect for an upgrade into mixed use. If the City Stand is to be upgraded IMO it will be a quite modest refurbishment.
  19. My only comments from a viewpoint on the west coast of the USA is the Milwaukee Brewers' franchise has been reborn under their owners tenure, Wisconsin is the State that most closely resembles Norfolk in my opinion, and it's home to the Green Bay Packers. So it's culturally probably a good fit, unfashionable and out of the way yet capable of mixing it up with the best. Sounds pretty good to me.
  20. Thanks for another season of wonderful written insight to the games just completed Ricardo. Here's to next year, and may you continue for several seasons to come. 👏
  21. Top six for sure, very likely top two, the Championship is gash. Gunn Aarons, Omobamidele, Gibson, McCallum Sargent, Sorenson, McLean, Springett Ida Pukki
