  1. YES and YES I''m afraid. Also some unsavoury scenes between fans outside the Barclay....
  2. We performed well at home against Man City. Crystal Palace upset Chelsea yesterday. It can be done against Liverpool. We are a due an upset. Unfortunately it is so tight at the top, all of our last games will be against top teams who will need the points. Tactics, formations & subs will all play an important part (Mr Hughton) but...... What the players lack in quality (compared with Liverpool), they will have to make up for in attitude and work rate (Players), coupled with passionate and vocal support from all stands (Us)... Then we may have a chance.
  3. Exactly the question that was put to Bassong on Canary Call.....he didn''t know either. Possible reasons ( or excuses )...... Hostile home crowd. Travelling fatigue. Change of routine. The general belief "it''s more difficult away" plays on the mind. Different sized pitch / different playing surface. Etc ???
  4. ....makes you think that things aren''t so bad at our club...or at least things could be a whole worse. Although we are ''secure'' financially, the amount of money we have to spend at present could mean flirting with relegation every year. Maybe we do need another investor to maintain a future mid table position ?
  5. Shows the fine line between success and failure, even when you have deep pockets....... http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/mar/28/queens-park-rangers-27m-loan-barclays-bank
  6. Yes. Thanks for your replies. The match was abandoned at 3.06pm. Nationwide kick off''s at 3.07pm in memory of those who died.
  7. Fulham away on the 12th of April......... I have checked several fixture lists, they all say 3.07pm kick off. What''s wrong with 3.00pm or even 3.05pm? Any ideas where the .07 comes from?
  8. Good news. One positive from yesterday then.
  9. I could not go to the game yesterday. I was interested to hear from those who went - or those who know.... what reception did Grant get from our fans...and did he acknowledge them in return ? He had no chance for a proper goodbye when he left, so I was hoping that this first contact went well, even though the result did not.
  10. ....you got to be in it to win it. £100...that''s a lot of cheeseburgers.
  11. Some teams have been away sunning themselves in Dubai during the free weekend....what did our boys do?
  12. .....The question about people being killed by a train was bizzare (yes really).
  13. We did have two....one on the pitch, and one on the touch line, no names mentioned - but I''m sure everyone will know who I''m talking about. Agreed though that''s what you need to get the best out of players.
  14. No. There is now some pressure to get points - especially from those around us in the league. For me this is a fixture we badly need to win. If we can''t beat West Ham..who can we beat?. Its now too late to take a draw.
  15. Never. I especially would like to know the reasons many people leave during a great game which could go either way.... Crazy. In fact rather than attempt to get out early, I sit tight, wait for the scores from other games to appear on the score board, then listen to a bit of Canary call until the exits are clear.
  16. He took a another poor corner kick from the snake pit corner. The fans reacted with some real venom...worst I''ve seen directed at one of our own. Sad to see. He spun around and dished some back..which made things worse.
  17. Ok Snodgrass didn''t play his best game, but did he really deserved the abuse from the Snake Pit? I thought it was well out of order..and big respect to him when he came over to the Snake Pit at the end of the game.
  18. I sit in the Barclay Upper. Overcast initially, but towards the end of the first half a low bright sun appeared over the river end. I remember this because I forgot my Barclay essentials....sunglasses
  19. Keep seeing threads on this. Its the sun !!!! Anyone who has stood or sat in the Barclay will know you can spend half the game with a blinding sun in your face. Ever noticed on MOTD those sunlit Yellow shirts in the Barclay. The players facing the River End can be blinded by low sun. If you win the toss...make your opponents face the sun. No brainer.
  20. I think we will win, we are due a result at the cottage.
  21. Huge respect your years of support. ...I am inclined to agree with you point about negative football.
  22. Lambert , Holt, rumours of Wes...where will it stop ?
  23. Ha Ha ...very good ! Like to know where this ''Spiderman'' tag come from though. The Toon forums seem to praise his work rate, and most think he will be good for us... Lets hope so.
  24. Welcome to Norwich...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4o29VoxtsFk
