1. Although I agree it''s not good that a lot of fans are quite fickle and jump on the moaning bandwagon quickly.... Everyone is intitled to their opinion and there is nothing anyone can change about that. I say let people have their opinions, aslong as the majority get behind the team and support them like we should then happy days! We should all be very proud to be Norwich fans. OTBC
2.
Noone played badly today at all. Having seen the game on the PC I can''t give anyone under a seven but here''s my opinion: Ruddy - Very little to do but what he did have to do he did well. Good distribution today. - 7 Tierney - Got forward well and was full of energy. Was always an option and did his job by keeping the wide man quiet. - 7 Martin - Faultless defensively and even foraged forward a couple of times with the ball beyond the midfield plus a nice little glance for his goal. - 8 Barnett - Supurb display. Read the game very well today and he looks like he has learnt from his earlier games. - 7 Naughton - Great display full of running and kept Sinclair quiet for most of the game. - 7.5 Pilkington - Quick feet and knows how to find space well. Caused lots of problems where ever he popped up and bagged a brace. - 8 Fox - Great passing great running great determination. Erm, he was great. - 7 Johnson - Full of powerful running and a real strength both defending and going forward with his physical presence. Would like to see him hit the target more often but a good display again. - 7 Bennett - Full of energy and pinged over some really difficult crosses to defend. Love the early ball in and love the work rate. - 8 Hoolahan - Ran his nuts off and dug in from deep positions where he won balls he had no right to given his size. Caused problems all day just sitting in front of the midfield. - 8 Morrison - MOM - Running Running Running oh and some more running. As the lone man up top he was there to be a problem and a problem he was. He just didn''t let it go all day and closed down everything, won everything and tackled everything. The unsung hero in many ways because he probably put in more of a shift than anyone, and that''s saying something, but he didn''t ever get the reward that his efforts deserved. - 9
Totally agree apart from i think Tierney deserves a 8, kept his side quiet for the majority of the game and bombed it forwards a lot causing Swanseas attacking wingers back! 3.

the lynch pin of the club
I''m laying it on a bit thick but it''s this kind of thing that bugs me when it comes to Holty. If you''ve paid attention to Paul Lambert over the past couple of years you will have noticed that he is all about the team. Grant Holt is but one part of that team. And right now Paul Lambert does not think he is good enough.
This is a very fickle statement to make. He has scored each level he has moved up with us. Fair enough he hasn''t looked great so far in the Prem, but it''s a big step up. How can you lose faith in a player so quickly who has done so much for us over the last couple of years. I believe Holty will score at any level given the chances, but he is right for certain games e.g. stoke. Against Utd he was never going to play when we were playing like that as he isn''t built for pace. Imagine we had your way of thinking about other players, Ruddy has had a lot of people on his back but look at him now, watched by the England scout. Barnett has looked very shakey until now but hes been brilliant in the last couple of games. Don''t lose the faith in Holty, Lambert or Norwich! OTBC
4. Guys, don''t humour this guy with a response. WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE! We have nothing to moan about right now, ignore anyone who does. I love this club, the players, board, coaches and the fans, no-one will knock that or make me feel bad about them OTBC
5. Where did he say that guys? I havent seen! We should definatly give him a 5 year contract or something!
6. I think Ruddy deserves his chance to be fair, just depends if he wants an experienced back up. And I think Schwarzer would easily be keeper of a lot of Premiership clubs, 1 blunder last night doesnt mean hes crap, the chances are he''d save that the next 100 times!
7. I really want to know where we''re going so I can start booking hotels etc! Germany seems most likely but who knows
8. Another one i''ve heard that is out of contract, unless he''s signed one recently, is Zoltan Gera!
9. Thinking about potential signings as I''m sure you all are. Before I get slated for any ideas, these are just thoughts rather than me hearing any fake rumours etc! Keven Phillips - Out of contract, good to have a goal scorer even if he is old Meite - Decent centre back out of contract Jonathon Spector - Out of contact, good defender Micheal Owen - Out of contract - Massive long shot but just thought i''d throw it out there even if theres a 1% chance of it! Tomkins - If West Ham go down we might be able to get him Marcus Hahmenann - Out of contact, good competition for Ruddy Giles Barnes - Out of contact, young talent The chances are we won''t get these players but you never know, they are possibilities. Exciting times for us to be able to think about potential signings
10. Heskey is a good target man, works hard for his team. However I would honestly rather have Holt, he deserves his place here. I dont think Heskey would be up for coming here to be a bench warmer!
11. Dortmund would be good, a cheap trip for us fans if we can go watch!
12.
Looking through the squad I can see Lambert getting rid of/releasing the following players: Dec Rudd - Loan Simon Lappin Jens Berthel-Askou Stephen Hughes Anthony McNamee Matt Gill Chris Martin - Loan Tom Adeyemi - Loan Aaron Wilbraham Oli Johnson Cody McDonald Steven Smith Owain Tudor-Jones I would be inclined to keep McNamee for his pace, and Simon Lappin but sadly, with £40m to spend, I think these players will leave. Lambert obviously thinks the squad needs a bit of an overhaul.
I''d like us to keep Mcnamee as well, he''s so exciting to watch and he gives us something different off the bench. However if he signs a couple of exciting wingers for the season then we probaly won''t need him im afraid.
13. Yeah I''ve been impressed with Tierney as well! Seems solid, decent at getting forward and a good character! Class cartwheels at Pompey and against Cov! If that was the last game for us for Drury then its sad but I trust PL. Drury has been amazing for us and a outstanding loyal player for us, even thought he hasn''t been a key player recently, I will always see him as the legend who led us up to the prem and scored the 4th for us against Borough in that comeback!
14. Hey Guys, Just wondering if there has been any word of a tour away anywhere? We have done Germany, Scotland and Malaysia in recent years! Can''t wait to be battling it out in the Premiership!
