  3. That record is actually the best of any ***** boss since the Premier League was launched in the 90s, but it still doesn''t look like it will be enough to keep the man from the forest in the hot-seat.
  4. Just Imagine if John Lennon gets it, it will just be like starting over.
  5. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27385142 Another one for the list.
  6. According to press reports there are 3/4 candidates being interviewed for the job.Seems as though one is Neil Adams. So that leaves 2/3. Unless 3/4 in addition to NA, as the board know all about Mr Adams.Malky?Lennon?Sherwood?Zola? Now that makes 5. So, I wonder who the candidates really are? Any ideas?
  7. I would have thought some players will want to see who is appointed manager before they make a decision about their future. For those who are able to.

  9. Highly possible given a number of candidates have been spoken to.
  10. He has expressed a wish to never manage a team in Scotland again.
  11. Just after Adams was appointed he said Wes was the kind of player that could win you games. Seems as though Neil didn''t believe what he said. I don''t remember him playing Wes!
  12. Seems as though CanaryOne would like Paolo DiCanio! That CannaryUnn doesn''t have a clue. Nuff said! Next!
  13. Sherwood at Tottenham Played 27 Won 13 Drawn 4 Lost 10 *Figures include two matches in temporary charge before being given 18-month contract
  14. CanaryOne Well you can put them here. I haven''t time to look through every thread yesterday to find out. :)
  15. On BBC East tonight. I''m sure the other Mc knows who he wants as manager for next season.
  16. CanaryOne. You seem to like to criticize but are unable to suggest anyone else. Now''s your chance to say. Perhaps you haven''t a clue.
  17. When names have been suggested many say ''I don''t want him'' without saying who they do want. Now''s your chance to say who you want.Malky would be one of my favourites, with Adams kept on as part of his coaching team. I feel Adams deserves his place.
  18. Apparently interested. He has done well since being appointed manager/coach at Spurs.
  19. Bury Yellow. Who would you want? Put your money where your mouth is!
  20. Under a different manager RVW could be a great success. Wouldn''t sell him to another Championship team unless we were in the Premiership. Not even to CH for him to fail.
  21. Agree with you Branston.Taken from wikipedia.Mackay signed a three-year contract as Cardiff City manager on 17 June 2011, with Watford receiving an undisclosed fee in compensation.[12] His reign began with a 1–0 away win over West Ham United. The side were undefeated in September, resulting in Mackay being nominated for the September Championship Manager of the Month in his first month managing the Welsh club.[13] Another unbeaten month for Cardiff resulted in Mackay winning the award in November.[14] He guided Cardiff to their first ever League Cup final, following wins over Oxford United, Huddersfield Town, Leicester City, Burnley, Blackburn Rovers and Crystal Palace in earlier rounds.[15][16] The week before the League Cup final, Mackay signed a three-and-half-year contract extension, tying him to the club until June 2016.[17] Mackay''s side were beaten by Liverpool in the Wembley final, losing 3–2 on penalties, with a 2–2 scoreline after extra time. Cardiff''s season ended where it began, as they were beaten by West Ham United in a two-legged Play-Off Semi Final. Following the success of his first season in Wales, Mackay was reportedly one of the candidates to replace Paul Lambert at Premier League side Norwich City, however on 4 June 2012, Mackay turned down the offer to return to his former club and said he was fully committed to Cardiff City.[18] Mackay oversaw Cardiff''s strongest ever home start to a league season, as they won each of their first ten fixtures at Cardiff City Stadium, the previous club record being nine consecutive home wins. Mackay went on to lead Cardiff to promotion to the Premier League, and sealed the Championship title after a 1-1 draw away at Burnley. Mackay was voted the LMA Championship Manager of the Year on 21 May 2013.
  22. Apparently the chairman likes to get managers for nothing. http://talksport.com/football/nursey-west-brom-will-turn-hughton-if-mel-leaves-14050790223
