[/quote] Of course, if either Holt, Martin or Drury have a terrible pre season then I would expect Lambert to take this into account if Jackson or Smith is playing better than them. However, I believe a few games against teams in lower leagues and then two games against Premiership opposition is not going to wreck established players chances of getting into the team, its more for fitness and getting the team to gel; just my opinion

From the dodgy rumour site...someone claiming we also had another player lined up Friday: "Tibor Tisza was due to sign officially for Norwich City on Friday but the move was held up by paperwork from the Hungarian FA, expect the ove to be completed early this week. Arthur." This player who keeps getting linked with us every year is getting a bit boring now. Does anyone know when this rumour first started, if there was any truth in it?

As much as I rate Forster and would have loved for him to come back for another season - he wasn''t our player. I''m glad Lambert has gone and brought in a young keeper with good reviews who will be ours, and who hopefully will do a good job for us.

I hope not - would like to see another striker, right winger and right back brought in. However, realistically, I think Lambert may only bring in one more player, if any

Smith seems a good signing, will be interesting to see who starts next season between him and Drury. Hope we can get some deal for Forster soon, there are a few rumours going around that we are trying to buy as opposed to a loan. Don''t know whether there is any truth in this though?
