1. Getting some desperate texts from my Bristol City supporting mate at Ashton Gate. At half time he said we were poor and Brizzle were "terrible". Got a text after the third goal in informing me that Bristol City fans are already leaving in droves. The cider men aren''t happy! Ha! Nice to get a few goals - a couple more wouldn''t go amiss. Good for the old goal difference and that :)
2. He goes to a lot of Preston games when he can - i.e when ManUre don''t have a game on Saturday. Wouldn''t read too much into it myself.
3. WHat I want to know is, where are Cardiff getting the money to pay people like Bellamy? They only just escaped a winding order a few weeks back, owe loads in tax and are massively in debt… It seems their approach to financial matters hasn''t changed - e.g gamble it all on buying a team that might take them up and worry about it later. Personally, I think this is bad for football. If they do succeed and get promoted, it sets a bad precedent. I for one hope that they fail and go bust. It would teach them a lesson.
4. Very poor so far, but it''s still early days - just 45 mins into the season. Some fundemental issues need addressing though - lack of pace at the back, for starters, and the lightweight midfield. Wes in particular is having a shocker, but he''s not alone.
5.
The ref and linesman are crap
Get used to it - the World Cup is usually full of shocking refs and terrible decisions. Bit pointless this game. Joe Cole seems to have played well and Lennon looks dangerous. Heskey - generally useless.
6. There''s a story my mate who''s a rugby league journalist told me about Ed Balls. His constituency is Castleford and Pontefract, in West Yorkshire. When he''s up there he goes to watch Castleford Tigers (Super League RL team). Apparently Balls gets annoyed with people there as none of them are interested in talking about Norwich City! What would they know, anyway. Castleford is full of burberry wearing chavs, blokes with mullets and single mums. And rugby league players.
7. Maybe not convincing today, though we appeared to create a few chances. The changes to the formation and defence may not have helped. A win is a win though - we have four home games. If we win all of them we''ll be champions, whatever happens in the other three games. Simple!
8. "I only wanted a live stream, and i got a virus instead.Luckily my computer started up for the goal so + + Well done everyone, excellent result!!!!" Harsh on the virus. Have to admit I got fed up with the jerkiness of the stream and stuck to the Five Live commentary instead. Looking forward to seeing the highlights on the Football League show later, though not Steve Claridge''s rubbish punditry.
9. I have to admit I feel a bit sorry for Grayson. He seems like a decent chap and he''s Leeds through and through. This must be gutting for him.
10. "Getttt Innnnn!!!!! Management impact! Sub sets up sub!" Yep. Lambert does it again. And now Tresor Campbell sent off fir Dirty Leeds. Ha ha. It''s all going pear shaped for Grayson.
11. Super Chrissy Martin! Gutted for Leeds… NOT!!
12.

Sounds like a fairly dreary arm wrestle so far. Hopefully we''ll have a second half similar to the Huddersfield game. As has been said, we need to push up more. Some width and pace might help. Pointless having Grant Holt crossing - he should be getting on the end of crosses. Maybe McNamee would be a decent option. Oli Johnson later on would also give a different attacking dimension as well - we seem to have been very one dimensional so far. Still, 0-0 and all to play for. OTBC!
tbf I think Grayson has sent them out in a diamond to nulify Hoolahan
That''s what it sounds like. Maybe we should change our shape a little.

14.

Nice. being in Glasgow I normally follow the Pink Un live text feed service, for matches, will be good to have commentary as well tomorrow. Maybe they should also share Canary Call with the nation on DAB? :-)
as soon as the game finishes they lift the block on radio snorfolk and you can et canary call online [:D]
Yes. Most Saturdays I give it a listen online, if only to chuckle at the moaners. It''s embarrassing, but weirdly entertaining.
15. Couldn''t see this mentioned elsewhere, so thought I''d bring it up. BBC Radio Five Live Sports Extra will be carrying full commentary on tomorrow''s match. You can listen on a digital radio, or via the BBC Sport website from 2.55pm. Great for those of us who can''t get Radio Norfolk.
