Are We Still Buying Abroad ?
City penguin replied to Renskay's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
one signing and speculation and everyone is kicking off. Our fans are a joke. -
3 million bid for Curtis Davis?
City penguin replied to colneycanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Where have you heard this? News site or anything? -
just cos levy wants £6m doesn''t mean we will have to pay that. Would be able to knock him down a bit. Definatly worth it imo, pure class on the ball, pace, very good defensively reads the game well can play LB or RB, possible England candidate for the future. One terrific season at this level in his first premiership campaign makes him worth every penny.

Worst part of the year...
City penguin replied to Michael Starr's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Near enough 90% of the rumors are just that, either reporters making possible links with no evidence or agents spreading word to get moves. Think about lamberts transfers, near enough all came out of the blue and that is down to tight lipped policy within the club. I would expect Hughton''s to be the same. Perhaps the journos may get lucky with a few as we will probably going for more established players this campaign. -
Next year's away kit - NOT GREEN!
City penguin replied to Brendo's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Brendo, you the Brendo that had his first pint came on the pinkun to announce a marriage and got banned? -
Yh was posted yesterday morning, then others have just spread the rumor, hence ended up on football rumors.

https://twitter.com/TransferQuantum/status/216939492953690112 This is the first place it was reported i think, i do think they have some credibility, certainly more than transfer rumors.

Would be delighted, doubt there is any truth in it though! Bit out of the blue though so you never know.

West Ham back again for Holt
City penguin replied to Oz Canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
65k for Pavel Pog is crazy. Surman is premiership standard and 22k is a snip of what other clubs would probably be prepared to pay him. -
West Ham back again for Holt
City penguin replied to Oz Canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Thing is though, Holt''s actions since the end of the season have left him open to these speculative stories that do him no good. -
"Yes you are dim witted, because nothing came of it. Deloitte was instructed to look for all kinds of possible investment. Then what happened? Nothing came of it. Only a fool would think they reported back with a blank sheet of paper. The silence strongly suggests whatever the findings were, somebody within the club turned round and said ''not interested''. " Did you not read purples post, sums up the situation perfectly, 50 parties indicating interest but no one with actual cash. So your advocating taking one of these interested parties up on there offer? Much like what has happened with Blackburn, thinking they were getting investment but the reality couldn''t have been any different. If you think that nothing coming of a search for something indicates no real intention, your dimmer than i thought and not the full ticket are you?
-
Does it or am i being dim witted? Explain please? For you to say that we instructed Deloitte to search for investment just being a charade is just plain bull, that would not have come cheap. If the board weren''t serious they certainly would of gone with someone other than Deloitte. Think we can put you in the same basket as wiz.

Don''t know why i''m wasting my time on your but here goes. okay so how about we get these mega bucks in, they invest stupidly and pay pavel pogman 70k a week for an example. They achieve solid positions of mid table, lets face it even reading, Southampton or QPR are never going to break top 6 even with 20 million investment each year. Our sugar daddy runs out of cash for us and has to sell, by which time our balance sheet looks like it''s Greek, Bolton for instance 100m in debt. We face admin or an asset stripper and would be extremely lucky to find further massive investment, as there would be other clubs of similar size without crippling debts. When the sugar daddies sugar runs out for these clubs then what, there futures will be in serious doubt. Were playing the long game, maintain premier league status, through self sufficiency, then one day when it all falls down like a pack of cards, we will be in fantastic position. Your so naive it''s untrue.

Good signing, stupid money. Just wait till the day when all the investment from foreign super rich drys up, if we are in the premier league still and self sufficient we will be better placed than nearly everyone. -
well considering Morrison hit, 9?, and he was less than 3million, he also went through an awful patch of form, 6million could defiantly get us 15 goals if we buy well.
-
Wouldn''t mind bumping into him in the city on a night out though!
-
if it is true, unlikely, then we could probably push them up to 7million. And for a guy that is coming to the end of his career a very good price for us. I''d drive him up there myself for that fee.

Scrap goal music at Carrow Road
City penguin replied to SwindonCanary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
there must be a link between liking goal to being a certified happy clappy. When Millwall scored against us the roar was immense, if any one was there there would be no way in hell that they could of said that shitty music over the top would of made it better. Honestly ellis do you travel to away games? Have you heard us score a goal at home without goal music over the top? -

how does music over the top of cheering, add to the atmosphere! The roar that comes from a goal is amazing, not when some shite tune is blasted out over the top.
